2008 US Men's Olympic Gymnastics Team Montage - So Far Away By maloneystibiarod A montage about the US Men's gymnastics team (Justin Spring, Kevin Tan, Raj Bhavsar, Jonathan Horton, Joe Hagerty and Alexander "Sasha" Artemev) at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and how amazing they were during the team final. In 2003 and 2004, the US men won team silver and AA gold. But by 2006, they were nolonger on top, finishing a devastating 13th at the 2006 Worlds. They climbed back to forth by 2007 but falls kept them off of podium. When Paul and Morgan Hamm pulled out of the Olympics with injury, a medal seemed impossible. This Beijing team surprised everyone but having the meet of their life and winning the bronze medal. I feel like this song, So Far Away, really describes this team in how they overcame adversity to win the bronze. I absolutely love this team. Livewire 2009 By 99timshi Add &fmt=18 at the end of the URL to make HQ Changed my method of training over past month or two inspired by people like Phil, Neil, Jan, Callum LS, Andrea, Blue, Tempest, Callum P, Danny, Jenx, Erin, Scott J. Been finding and training a lot more plyometric and stride missions and it has strengthened my jump by about a foot!
