God of War 3 Speedrun (NG+): Part 2 of 4 (Judges to Chain of Balance) God of War 3 Speed record/Speedrun part 2 of 4. Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/findlestick At the 3 Judges - 1. I dicovered a way to skip the trials (without swimming glitch), but it took about 10 seconds longer than just doing those damn trials. 2. At the 1st phase of the Trials, the game expects a certain number of civilians to be converted to wandering souls. That's why you see me wait around, if you just spam magic here the whole time, that 1st trial goes on for aaaaaaaaaaaaages! At the Vent Puzzle (with the exploding bramble pots) - 3. I decided to use Nemsis rage on the angry screaming blue ladies (during the pot dragging ordeal) I just didn't have the patience (or time). At the 1st Forge Visit - 4. I did some "strategic" dashing as I entered the Forge, this was to give myself a favourable camera angle for later on. At the area before RoS tutorial - 5. You can jump over the pillars towards the Palace of Hades with regular Severe Judgement Jump, but I opted for the higher percentage Sorrow Jump instead. 6. When I dashed towards the Palace of Hades, I actually ended up standing on out-of-bounds collision. I probably could have dashed around the door that leads to the Hades Statue "Tree Puzzle", and skipped the bit with the undead & the hounds. But it was not planned, so I wasn't sure if anything would actually be loaded behind the door. (A future speedrunner might want to make a note of this). At Hades Boss fight - 7. For a laugh I thought it would be more visually interesting to see Kratos go for a swim as he waits for Hades to appear. 8. Should have used Nemesis rage whenever Hades would hang from the roof, and the later stages could have been handled better. There was only rough planning there, with a bit of improv. At the Swimming glitch after Hades battle - 9. I could only seem to load Hephaestus if I entered the tunnel area first before making my way to Hephaestus. (Though the actual trigger itself could be elsewhere).
