So guys, I'm just going to forewarn you - if this video gets deleted, Youtube will be stupid and say that I had some kind of copyright infringement. Which is totally not true. Anyways, enjoy. Oh, one more thing. I got 358/2 Days, and it's a pretty good game! There's not as many cutscenes with vocals that I would have thought there would be, but the graphics are really good for the DS, and the gameplay is good, and the music doesn't totally suck for a DS game. So, that's a good game to get. And if you're wanting to continue in the original Kingdom Hearts saga, that's a good game to have... it tells the story of Roxas, and about his time being a Nobody. The game, I've noticed, takes place right after Kingdom Hearts 1, and right before Kingdom Hearts RE: CoM. You know, the Nobodies will be explained more thoroughly, but let me just tell you when Roxas was created: Right when Sora was turned into the Shadow Heartless at Hollow Bastion in KH1. Yup yup... so yeah... enjoy the video! Mickey Mouse & Friends - The Band Concert (1935) By edgelee84 The orchestra is performing the William Tell overture, but then Donald Duck (in his third appearance in a Mickey cartoon) appears selling ice-cream. Uninvited, Donald takes out his flute and distracts the band into playing Turkey in the Straw. The cartoon is notable for being the first Mickey Mouse film in Technicolor, although two more Mickey cartoons were made in black and white before they were produced in colors on a permanent basis; Mickey's Service Station and Mickey's Kangaroo. It is said that when conductor Arturo Toscanini first saw the cartoon in a movie theater, he was so delighted with it that he ran up to the projection booth and asked the projectionist to run it again. In 1994 it was voted #3 of the 50 Greatest Cartoons of all time by members of the animation field. Also, according to Leonard Maltin in a commentary for this film when it was included in one of the Walt Disney Treasures, The Band Concert was remade (somewhat) years later as Symphony Hour. "Donald's Dinner Date" (1999) - A Mickey Mouseworks Cartoon By Elera One out of ten of the Mickey Mouseworks/House of Mouse cartoons that were included in the Walt Disney Treasures box set "The Chronological Donald Duck: Volume Four," basically as filler. These ten Donald Duck cartoons are the only Mouseworks/HOM cartoons released on DVD (other than the two direct-to-video features), so, before ya ask, no, I do NOT have any more. :( If you've seen "Cured Duck" (1945), you've seen this plot before. This cartoon, compared to others made for Mouseworks, is sloppy, but the fact that Goofy's in it adds a little something extra ("I've got it mesmerized" is easily the best line). Which is something else I'd like to praise about Mickey Mouseworks and House of Mouse - a lot of the humor revolved around the interaction between the core characters, instead of just merely how things tend to go wrong thanks to some outside force. The classic cartoons are absolute genius in their own right, but one does have to admit that even when Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all got together, they often meandered off onto their own path to find that in their corner of the Disney universe, even the simplest tasks can become downright impossible. I really dug how Mouseworks and HOM provided a lot more interaction between the characters, a little depth into their relationships. All goes to show how much cartoon humor and narration has developed over the decades.
