AUDIO ONLY - Hindu temple evening service in Jaipur, India By zeekzilch We were asked not to photograph or take videos of this evening ceremony at a large, modern, and expensive temple in Jaipur, India. So, I recorded just the audio which was very trance-inducing during the actual ceremony. Parishioners chanted lightly, during the service, while two priests alternately struck hand-held bells/gongs. It was a very nice service that ended with a small sugar-like communion being administered by one of the priests. Here's my personal web page about our trip to India: http://www.rogerwendell.com/india.html Tags: bells, chants, gongs, hindu, india, jaipur, temple 1 Downloads - Last from: http://downthisvideo.com/ (Your Blog here!) |
