The notes the Sheikh mentioned: Khadija Al-Kubra Khadija was born 15 years before the year of the Elephant and was married twice before Muhammad [sallallahu alaihi wasallam]. She had two sons from her first marriage and a daughter,named Hind from her second union,hence Khadija was known by the name Umme Hind. She was also known as Thahira,the pure,and her children born before her marriage to the Prophet,accepted Islam and are known as Banu Thahira. Muhammad [alaihis salaam] began working for her in his mid twenties,and could have possibly been referred to her by Nafisa,a mutual friend. After observing his honest and righteous ways,she proposed marriage and they married,he 25 and she nearly 40. She bore him 2 sons,al-Qasim and Abdullah as well as his daughters who survived to adulthood,Zainab,Ruqaiya,Umme Kulthoom and Fathima tuz Zahra. She passed away on the 20th of Ramadaan,3 years before the Hijra age 65. Her passing is believed to be just after the family was released from exile in the Vale of Abu Talib,she was buried in the cemetery of Makkah,Jannatul Ma'la. The above is a brief historical view of her life. From a spiritual perspective,Khadija shared many moments in the life of the Messenger that defined the Call to Islam. Her personal position in his life,remained unsurpassed by anyone. The Revelation She was responsible for comforting him upon his return from the cave in the hours after the first revelation. She ultimately believed in him and is considered the first Muslim. Spending in the path of Allah In the initial days of Islam the primary financial burden borne by the Muslims was the freeing of convert Muslim slaves from their tyrant disbelieving masters. Entertaining guests who traveled for the purpose of inquiring about Islam was another expense. Khadija used her wealth generously in both causes. Salaah and Purification In many narrations that feature Jibreel coming to the Messenger and demonstrating prayer and purification,Khadija is in the incident. Though these narrations are not regarding the 5 daily prayer,they refer to prayer in general. "Jibreel came to the Prophet when the prayers were mandated and dug with his heel in a corner of the valley.......the Prophet took Khadija's hand and brought her to the spring and she did wudhu as Jibreel had done wudhu." The Everlasting Love of the Messenger The Prophet throughout his life continued to recollect his days with Khadija. Even objections raised by Aisha did not deter him from often mentioning her and expressing concern for her family and friends. The Dua of the Messenger Before her passing the Messenger gave her the glad tidings of a house of hollowed pearl in Jannah,in which there is no fatigue or clamor. The Prophetic Lineage The bloodline of the Prophet,the descendants of Hasan and Husein[ra] continue today. Their mother is Fathima and off course her mother is Khadija. No other line of the Prophet continues but this one. Weston * The One-Man Marching Band Once called "A Mexican John Belushi" (Logan, Utah, March 19, 2004), Weston is not Mexican (half Argentinian), named John (he's from Cleveland, after all), or named Belushi (but he did for a while date a girl named Belushi - that was her only name, because she was a pop singer). Weston graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. For employment he now does both, though not at the same time, and not for at least 45 minutes after eating a large meal. Weston is currently in a tree flinging empty pizza boxes at celebrities. Mister Tim * The Human Vending Machine Mister Tim sings in a kajillion a cappella groups and is also a one-man a cappella band, composer, teacher, and conductor. Mister Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree, Vocal Performance emphasis, from the University of Utah, and studied for a Masters degree in Choral Conducting at the University of Colorado. Glen * The Envy of Stupid People Everywhere A self-proclaimed Air Force BRAT, Glen is actually a nice guy. Glen is a computer programmer, so if you get him angry and he goes nuts, don't say we didn't warn you. Glen is currently engaged in a staring contest with a ring-tailed kinkajou. Jeremiah * Calling him "the bald one" would be too easy You can call him "Jer"; you can call him "Jar"; just don't call him "Jar-Jar". As well as singing baritone with moosebutter, Jeremiah has sung (has singed? has sang? sanguine?) screamy-high soprano with Vocal Point (not to be confused with Vocal Point or Vocal Point). Jeremiah one day hopes to actually talk to a woman. Richard * The Robot Richard used to sing with the college a cappella group Mile 21 from the University of Colorado. He currently sings with several pro a cappella groups, and makes furniture. Also, he is a ROBOT Peter * The crooner Peter likes to lay down with his ear on the ground until he hears a herd of something or a large something coming towards him, then he gets out of the way. He is a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He does tricks if you give him a milkshake. It has to be a really good milkshake. Unfortunately, back when I got it, no one else did, so we couldn't link up to play the Four Swords game. A few years later, a few people I knew got it so I was able to unlock the extra Four Sword Palace added in the game. This video is just the boss fight vs all 4 Links you have to fight after getting all 4 swords and the 2nd ending that follows after. I lost 1 and 1/2 hearts, but I was kinda cheap near the end to speed up the fight (Cane of Byrna). The 2nd ending doesn't really have spoilers (unless you count seeing the dark world bosses spoilers). The notes the Sheikh mentioned: Khadija Al-Kubra Khadija was born 15 years before the year of the Elephant and was married twice before Muhammad [sallallahu alaihi wasallam]. She had two sons from her first marriage and a daughter,named Hind from her second union,hence Khadija was known by the name Umme Hind. She was also known as Thahira,the pure,and her children born before her marriage to the Prophet,accepted Islam and are known as Banu Thahira. Muhammad [alaihis salaam] began working for her in his mid twenties,and could have possibly been referred to her by Nafisa,a mutual friend. After observing his honest and righteous ways,she proposed marriage and they married,he 25 and she nearly 40. She bore him 2 sons,al-Qasim and Abdullah as well as his daughters who survived to adulthood,Zainab,Ruqaiya,Umme Kulthoom and Fathima tuz Zahra. She passed away on the 20th of Ramadaan,3 years before the Hijra age 65. Her passing is believed to be just after the family was released from exile in the Vale of Abu Talib,she was buried in the cemetery of Makkah,Jannatul Ma'la. The above is a brief historical view of her life. From a spiritual perspective,Khadija shared many moments in the life of the Messenger that defined the Call to Islam. Her personal position in his life,remained unsurpassed by anyone. The Revelation She was responsible for comforting him upon his return from the cave in the hours after the first revelation. She ultimately believed in him and is considered the first Muslim. Spending in the path of Allah In the initial days of Islam the primary financial burden borne by the Muslims was the freeing of convert Muslim slaves from their tyrant disbelieving masters. Entertaining guests who traveled for the purpose of inquiring about Islam was another expense. Khadija used her wealth generously in both causes. Salaah and Purification In many narrations that feature Jibreel coming to the Messenger and demonstrating prayer and purification,Khadija is in the incident. Though these narrations are not regarding the 5 daily prayer,they refer to prayer in general. "Jibreel came to the Prophet when the prayers were mandated and dug with his heel in a corner of the valley.......the Prophet took Khadija's hand and brought her to the spring and she did wudhu as Jibreel had done wudhu." The Everlasting Love of the Messenger The Prophet throughout his life continued to recollect his days with Khadija. Even objections raised by Aisha did not deter him from often mentioning her and expressing concern for her family and friends. The Dua of the Messenger Before her passing the Messenger gave her the glad tidings of a house of hollowed pearl in Jannah,in which there is no fatigue or clamor. The Prophetic Lineage The bloodline of the Prophet,the descendants of Hasan and Husein[ra] continue today. Their mother is Fathima and off course her mother is Khadija. No other line of the Prophet continues but this one. Weston graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. As well as singing baritone with moosebutter, Jeremiah has sung (has singed? has sang? sanguine?) screamy-high soprano with Vocal Point (not to be confused with Vocal Point or Vocal Point). Jeremiah one day hopes to actually talk to a woman. Richard * The Robot Richard used to sing with the college a cappella group Mile 21 from the University of Colorado. He currently sings with several pro a cappella groups, and makes furniture.
