FNB Revised Anti-Crime Ad By gibbo183 Recently a South African bank, called FNB, was involved in trying to run an anti-crime campaign with a message targeted at our president. The campaign was shut down for unknown reasons, but there's been much speculation. At advertising school we decided to research issues surrounding this campaign, from different angles. My team's angle was from FNB's advertising agency. Following this, I found on YouTube what might be an ad that was meant to be shown on television: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guCRu8... Assuming that really was an ad created by FNB's advertising agency, my team decided we would change the ad's focus, so that it talks to the SA public, rather than the president, thus giving the message more impact and ensuring the government wouldn't try to shut down the campaign. This revised ad is the result. It was only used in a presentation at the school, and won't be shown on television (in case you were wondering).
