Lee Dewyze Hallelujah Lee doesn't even get off the jet in his hometown. Chicago is a tough crowd after all. However, we find out that Simon chose Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah.' Lee, of course, is doing more of the Jeff Buckley version, as that has definitely become the more popular of the two. Here's my deal: I'm calling bullshit on the soul choir right now. This would have been a fantastic performance, but this, right here, is hacky as crap. Lee does an AMAZING job with this, but the whole thing is so overdone I can hardly stand it. I will say though, that he did an excellent job of not being overpowered by the arrangement.
