FBI Raids Liberty Dollar Evansville Indiana 3of3 (Ron Paul) ATTENTION!! FACTUAL ERRORS IN THIS REPORT!!! Myself and a few Ron Paul compatriots were interviewed today on our local Fox 7 News affiliate and our NBC affiliate here in Evansville, Indiana. At issue was the seizure of Liberty Dollar property and freeze of assets by FBI and Secret Service agents. In an effort to make the best of a bad situation, we went to first see if we could help in any way, and were at least able to get Ron Paul in the local news for the first time. Thanks to Fox 7 WTVW in Evansville for their fair and sympathetic coverage. Don't know if I can exactly say the same for our NBC affiliate. They obviously had an agenda in their coverage and made several mistakes in their coverage, including saying that the man they interviewed who lost $5000 was suing the Liberty Dollar, which is NOT true! He was actually joining a class action lawsuit to sue the Federal Government. Someone informed me they called WFIE 14, the NBC affiliate responsible for this bad reporting and they claim, at least, they will correct the mistakes in a future follow up story. Let's hope they do. Letra del Himno Nacional Mexicano (Completa). El Himno Mexicano es un canto a la Nación (aún inexistente), misma que depende de nosotros ser forjada. Escrito por Francisco González Bocanegra y musicalizado por el español Jaime Nunó, cuyo estreno fue el 16 de septiembre de 1854 en el Teatro Santa Anna (antiguamente ubicado en la calle de Bolívar, Ciudad de México), fue interpretado por la soprano Balbina Steffenone y el tenor Lorenzo Salvi. No fue sino hasta 1943 cuando el Himno Nacional Mexicano se hace oficial, bajo el decreto presidencial de Manuel Ávila Camacho, a través del Diario Oficial de la Federación. ¿En qué radica la importancia de un Himno Nacional? Mientras que una bandera simboliza los más elevados ideales que los ciudadanos de un país defienden, un Himno representa una música marcial que dirige a los hombres a defender todo aquello que han forjado con esfuerzo, mientras que el canto motiva y esclarece el porqué se debe luchar a morir, si es necesario. Hay que entender que como ciudadanos estamos obligados a participar en las acciones políticas de la República, desde simples elecciones hasta demandas -por más ínfimas que sean (siempre que sean necesarias)- a los representantes; usualmente existe la idea errónea que esas tareas corresponden a los políticos -diputados, senadores, gobernadores,...- cuando debemos aclarar que ellos sólo "representan", no dirigen. La soberanía radica en la nación, no en una élite. Al ser República debemos entender esto, de otra manera, si prefieren evitar todos los deberes ciudadanos, entonces exijan un estado totalitario, donde la política sea ejercida por el Estado y no la nación, en general. Cuando no sólo cada mexicano, sino todo aquel habitante de una República, tenga una idea de lo que representa "el ciudadano", cambiará el rumbo de su país, ya que de esa forma se responsabiliza, tanto para sí mismo, como para con la nación. Una RECOMENDACIÓN: cuando escuchen el Himno Nacional no pongan la mano sobre el pecho, "cívicamente" sólo se realiza en los "honores a la bandera".
