Power of the Dark Side By Direct8 A Word from the Director: The original idea for Power of the Dark Side was 'let's make a duel'. The year was 2003, Episode III had it's premiere and all three of us - me, Jakub Koucký and Lukáš Malý - were so exited about it that we immediately started to prepare for shooting our own Star Wars. Our little idea of a simple duel grew into a regular fan film, with dialogs, flying starships etc. Unfortunately, during the year 2004 we found out that it's going to be much more difficult than we thought and suddenly, our idea began to shrink again...Long story short, in the end we agreed on this: 'Let's make just a duel. Nothing big, just to try if we can.' We decided, right there at that moment, to do another Spider-man video. The costumes were put on and we just started improvising while we shot it. What you see here, is what we came up with.
