Epica || Cry For The Moon [Sub.][English-Español] By NyxALaN NOTAS DE TRADUCTOR: 1) En la línea: "the soul of this bulwark", el término "bulwark" traducido literalmente es "baluarte" (muro de defensa en una fortificación), pero como se utiliza el término como una metáfora, hay que hallarle su verdadero significado. "Bulwark" aquí se refiere al "cuerpo físico", que actúa a modo de "prisión" del alma mientras estamos encarnados. Así que "bulwark" la traduje por "prisión" y no por "cuerpo", para mantener de esta manera el nivel de estilo dramático de la letra. 2) En la línea: "and the extinguisher", NO DEBE TRADUCIRSE COMO EXTINTOR DE INCENDIOS, como vi en la mayoría de las traducciones de internet. Es otra metáfora más que hay qué desenredar. "Extinguisher" (Extintor) se refiere a aquel que "Extinguish all your sins", es decir, al que supuestamente te quita todos los pecados a través de la confesión en la iglesia, o sea, el cura o predicador (en lo específico), pero a la institución religiosa (en lo general). De hecho en muchas iglesias cristianas, ¿quién apaga la luz de las velas? Los clérigos... Son éstos clérigos cuando actúan de mala fé los que al ser descubiertos pierden la inmunidad que de cierta manera les brindaba la Iglesia, pero ésta los expulsa de su propia institución como para "lavarse las manos" de las faltas cometidas por ellos mismos a costa de los inocentes. En este video "the apple" (la manzana) representa tanto al pecado del cual habla la Iglesia, como a la iglesia misma pero fundidas en un sólo lugar (la manzana en su totalidad)... ¿Y quién ofreció esa manzana? ¿No fue acaso la serpiente? EPICA - FEINT, Acoustic (Subtítulos English - Español) By eldesatado Group: EPICA (from Holland). Singer: Simone Simons. Theme: Feint First, English explanation, then Spanish explanation of this song. Primero la explicación en inglés y luego en español. ENGLISH - ENGLISH - ENGLISH: FEINT is about people afraid of facing reality. So, they seek refuge into religions. That's why we can read: "...made foundations quiver". Religious foundations may be overcame when "Every beat of your heart, tore the lies all apart...". These lies are religious dogmas. Moreover, "Every wave in the lake caused the porcelain to break", means that our will of acting (the moving effect as a wave of a lake) by using our common sense, may cause porcelain to break (strict dogmas imposed by religions). It is very difficult to open our eyes when dogmas blind our mind, that's why our inner wave of common sense needs to act IN ORDER TO ESCAPE FROM THAT FEINT OR "ILLUSION" to face up to reality, to face up real life and not for living into a religious blind-mind dogma fairytale. So, we usually try to FEINT to escape from that illusion and be aware of reality. ESPAÑOL - ESPAÑOL - ESPAÑOL: NOTA: hay un error en "se vuelva roja", lo correcto es "se vuelve roja". Por otro lado, traduje "tallow" por "sebo", en lugar de "esperma" (que es la sustancia grasa con que fabrican las velas), es decir, no lo traduje por "esperma" para que no creyeran que están hablando del otro tipo de esperma jiji... FEINT es básicamente es "intentar evadir la ilusión que vivimos" y trata de la gente que tiene miedo de confrontar su realidad, pues vive sumergida en sus propias ilusiones personales y dogmas religiosos. Por eso podemos leer en la letra: "...made foundations quiver (hizo temblar los fundamentos)". Los fundamentos religiosos pueden ser superados cuando "Cada latido de tu corazón destroza las mentiras", es decir, cuando descubres la ilógica de los dogmas. Entonces es cuando "cada ola en el lago hizo quebrar la porcelana", es decir, cuando actúas (movimiento de la ola) usando tu sentido común, logras romper con los estrictos e inamovibles dogmas (la porcelana, que por esencia es dura). Es muy difícil abrir los ojos cuando los dogmas cegan nuestra mente, por eso nuestra ola interior de sentido común debe actuar PARA ESCAPAR DE ESE "FEINT" O "ILUSIÓN" y así confrontar la realidad, y no vivir sumergidos dentro de un cuento de hadas dogmático religioso. Entonces, debemos hacer un "Feint", una evasión de esa ilusión, para estar consciencia de la realidad. ENGLISH: QUIETUS, is about people who feel guilty because of their acts. They feel remorse and regret. BLAME is different to RESPONSABILITY. Blame consists on doing something intentionally. Responsability consists on doing something by accident, when they didn't mean to. It is possible to blame a murderer because he/she is guilty of his/her murder, because he planned the way to kill his victim. But it is not possible to blame somebody whose bonfire spread and burns things around, etc. He is responsible for this fire (because it was an accident), but it is not a blame. ESPAÑOL: QUIETUS, trata el tema de la culpabilidad. Aquellos que saben que cometieron un acto del cual son culpables (además de responsables), suelen vivir con el frecuente tormento del remordimiento a causa de la culpa. Se es CULPABLE cuando se comete el acto intencionalmente, de manera premeditada, como el homicida que planea cómo asesinar a su víctima. Por otro lado, se es RESPONSABLE de un acto más no culpable cuando ese acto es cometido sin querer, no intencionalmente: quizá dejaste un trapo tirado en el piso con el que una persona resbaló y se cayó hasta fracturarse o incluso morir por traumatismo cerebral, entonces, eres responsable de haber dejado el trapo en el piso, que causó el accidente de la persona, pero no eres culpable. QUIETUS, en español se traduce como "Descanso Eterno", que puede interpretarse como la manera en que decides pasar el resto de tu vida: en un eterno sentimiento de culpabilidad o remordimiento o en calma... Para aquellos que son culpables por sus actos cometidos, lo aconsejable sería primero que reconozcan su culpa y su responsabilidad, eviten victimizarse (aparten esos dogmas de culpabilidad impuestos por la variedad de instituciones religiosas que los hace sentir condenados para poder manipularlos y minimizarles tanto la vida de ustedes como su propio sentido común y determinación), y en cambio dediquense junto a los demás seres a construir un mundo mejor, ¿CÓMO?: AYUDANDO A LOS OTROS A SER FELICES, de manera inteligente, aunque para eso primero hay que tener AUTOCONOCIMIENTO, pues quien no se ama ni se comprende a sí mismo, no amará ni comprenderá de alguna manera a los demás. PROPONER el amor, el respeto, etc, más nunca IMPONERLO, y quien no loquiera recibir, pues simplemente alejarse de esas personas sin cometerles actos hostiles, pues cada quien estará a su ritmo y en su propio tiempo para evolucionar...
