La parte vocale del brano nella versione originale è eseguita dalla cantante scozzese Maggie Reilly, collaboratrice di Oldfield sin dal 1980. [View \| Download]	Corey Hart - Sunglasses At Night ideo Productions presents this home-made music video for Corey Hart's 1983 hit, "Sunglasses At Night (Extended) - from his debut album, "First Offense". Music property of Aquarius and EMI records. Following the fun and success me and Riley had from our "Livin' On The Edge" home-made music video project released a couple months ago, we decided to create another one... but we needed a concept and sound that was different from out last project. We decided to take the sound from the 90's to the 80's - and our setting from day to night, from nature to industry. Sunglasses At Night was such an awesomely 80's song - it had to be done. *Information about the re-release: After we had created and posted the original video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlZNMzSLTQ4) I discovered that a longer, five-minute version of the track existed, complete with a rocking guitar solo. It would be some time before I had free time to go back and re-edit the video to the extended track, and when I finally did, it was clear to me that we would need to shoot some new footage with Riley playing his guitar. While going back to the original project, I ended adjusting every* shot in the video so that the color-temperatures and video levels were consistent throughout, maintaining that classic 80's overblown VHS Tape look. I did a fair amount of re-editing actually, changing shots from the original version to alternate takes I had somehow missed the first time around, or extended the effects of other existing shots. Overall, I would say about 50% of the video has changed from the original - so I hope you enjoy this exciting HQ widescreen re-release of our hit music video... now to the tune of the extended version of the song! The video was shot in two evenings around the North Shore of Boston, MA on a Panasonic DVX-100b, and a Canon Elura 100. It took me about 30 hours to edit, and color-adjust the entire piece to make it seem like it came from the 80's. INFO Moonlight Shadow è una canzone pop scritta dal musicista britannico Mike Oldfield, pubblicata come singolo nel maggio 1983 ed inclusa nell'album Crises dello stesso anno. La parte vocale del brano nella versione originale è eseguita dalla cantante scozzese Maggie Reilly, collaboratrice di Oldfield sin dal 1980. Si è a lungo creduto che il testo di Moonlight Shadow faccesse riferimento all'omicidio di John Lennon, benché Oldfield in una intervista del 1985 smentì, in parte, la notizia. Oldfield dichiarò che la principale ispirazione del brano era il film Il mago Houdini, in cui il protagonista, interpretato da Tony Curtis tentava di contattare il celebre mago dall'aldilà. [View \| Download]	Corey Hart - Sunglasses At Night ideo Productions presents this home-made music video for Corey Hart's 1983 hit, "Sunglasses At Night (Extended) - from his debut album, "First Offense". Music property of Aquarius and EMI records. Following the fun and success me and Riley had from our "Livin' On The Edge" home-made music video project released a couple months ago, we decided to create another one... but we needed a concept and sound that was different from out last project. We decided to take the sound from the 90's to the 80's - and our setting from day to night, from nature to industry. Sunglasses At Night was such an awesomely 80's song - it had to be done. *Information about the re-release: After we had created and posted the original video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlZNMzSLTQ4) I discovered that a longer, five-minute version of the track existed, complete with a rocking guitar solo. It would be some time before I had free time to go back and re-edit the video to the extended track, and when I finally did, it was clear to me that we would need to shoot some new footage with Riley playing his guitar. While going back to the original project, I ended adjusting every* shot in the video so that the color-temperatures and video levels were consistent throughout, maintaining that classic 80's overblown VHS Tape look. I did a fair amount of re-editing actually, changing shots from the original version to alternate takes I had somehow missed the first time around, or extended the effects of other existing shots. Overall, I would say about 50% of the video has changed from the original - so I hope you enjoy this exciting HQ widescreen re-release of our hit music video... now to the tune of the extended version of the song! The video was shot in two evenings around the North Shore of Boston, MA on a Panasonic DVX-100b, and a Canon Elura 100. It took me about 30 hours to edit, and color-adjust the entire piece to make it seem like it came from the 80's.
