Rainbow Song By DTeacher This presentation can be used as a springboard for basic topics such as Color ( for Art ), How the Rainbow is Formed ( perhaps for Science, Reading, etc. ), What Color is. . .? ( obviously for English, particularly questions ), and endless possible others. This is created through the use of Photostory 2 ( downloadable from Microsoft Download Center ). I believe this is more effective than the convential use of just the audio with lyrics because it integrates meaning, music, and fun through the use of pictures, lyrics, and melody. According to the principle of multimedia learning ( Mayer ) , the use of audio and video can improve understanding more effectively than by using only one of the two. This presentation is also a very good example of the material teachers should use when considering the so-called learner`s schema or prior knowledge because it obviously is a karaoke style of presentation which every learner is very fond of.
