Dream Theater - Never Enough - Bass cover by Juan Carlos Enriquez By jcenriquez I DO NOT OWN IN ANY WAY THIS SONG. FULL COPYRIGHT IS OWN BY WMG. Just for fun! A humble tribute to Dream Theater. This is one of my favorite DT songs to rock out with the bass (well, I really love to rock out with them all haha). :D During their live shows they play their instruments backwards in some parts, so I did the same during the second verse. :P I used to be able to play the actual solo that Petrucci and Rudess play in unison in the bass, but after six months of not playing at all, I was really rusty! :/ haha So, I tried my best during the solo sections (it's not 100% of what they or the bass player actually play. I added my own thing into the mix as well :P) I recorded the bass using Logic and processed the bass part with Guitar Rig 3. It has some nice distortion and a little bit of fuzz, compression, a subtle phaser, a very subtle delay, I tweaked the EQ and I added some other neat stuff to the formula (like the microphone placement, etc) and c'est fini! :D PS. The camera is not my friend! It makes me play very tense and act weird... haha Sorry, I know I owe you a better performance than this one :P Please enjoy!
