Trailer Italiano - Ong Bak 2 - La Nascita Del Dragone By itaTrailer Alla fine del XV secolo, durante l'era Ayutthaya, un colpo di stato militare miete diverse vittime: tra queste il comandante Lord Sihadecho (Santisuk Promsiri) e la moglie, mentre il figlio, il giovane Tien (Natdanai Kongthong), riesce a scappare. Un duro destino attenderà Tien, presto catturato da mercanti di schiavi, perché la strada della vendetta passa attraverso lotte sanguinose. Forte del successo di Ong Bak e sicuro di ripeterlo,Tony Jaa ha preso in mano le redini della situazione e ha deciso di fare tutto da sé. Via Prachiya Pinkaew, regista del primo film, è Tony stesso ad andare dietro la macchina da presa e l'effetto si avverte in maniera evidente. Raramente prima di Ong Bak 2 è capitato di assistere a una sproporzione simile tra scene d'azione pura e quello che comunemente siamo soliti associare al cinema, ovvero dialoghi, trama e altre quisquilie del genere. L'effetto è devastante, come se Tony Jaa, non si sa quanto consapevolmente, intendesse riscrivere le regole della narrazione a tutto vantaggio delle scene di lotta; scene che, prevedibilmente ma forse anche oltre il pronostico, sono quanto di meglio si possa immaginare per coreografia ed eterogeneità non solo di avversari uomini-corvo, spadaccini o semplici maestri di muay thai - e di armi utilizzate, ma soprattutto per il mix di scuole di arti marziali che Tony Jaa ormai incarna. Dal succitato muay thai al kung-fu cinese come ce l'ha insegnato Lau Kar-leung con mosse come la scimmia ubriaca (che Jaa riprende in una delle sequenze migliori), con aggiunta di tocchi personali derivati dal kickboxing o dalle danze tradizionali khon della natìa Thailandia. Una rivoluzione che poco o nulla c'entra con il titolo, visto che i legami con il predecessore semplicemente non esistono. Nessun nesso storico (primo capitolo ambientato ai giorni nostri, sequel ambientato in era Ayutthaya) e nessun legame che vada al di là di un vago utilizzo di tematiche buddiste per guarnire, e in parte giustificare, l'esplosione di violenza. Ma se nel primo capitolo l'uso insistito dei replay, l'eccessiva spettacolarizzazione e le parti umoristiche affidate al Kitano thailandese Petchtai Wongkamlao qui presente in un cameo indebolivano e appesantivano la componente action, qui l'energia cinetica sprigionata è incontaminata e scene come la lotta con il coccodrillo del giovane Tien si ricorderanno a lungo. Fatta quindi la doverosa premessa che Ong Bak 2 è decisamente fuori dal comune e a volte trasmette l'impressione che il cinema, perlomeno come lo conosciamo, non abiti più qui, chi cerca lo stato dell'arte in fatto di arti marziali e Thai action non rimarrà deluso.
