Britney Spears - ' 3 ' New Music Video Oct 30, 2009 - HD 720p - Full Official Clip By ThisIsTheMusic2010 The music video was filmed on October 5 and October 6, 2009 in Los Angeles, California, directed by Diane Martel and choreographed by Tone & Rich. On October 15, 2009, a sneak peak of the video in images was released. A countdown including images and video previews was announced on her official website and the release date was revealed to be on October 30, 2009. The video begins with Spears wearing a sparkly black dress at a vanity, putting mascara and Circus Fantasy on. Then, it cuts to her holding her hair up and singing the first lines in a white background. There are also black and white scenes of her wearing a white leotard behind a foggy glass. She then appears wearing the leotard and glasses while surrounded by four female dancers wearing black outfits, hanging from a raised ballerina bar. In the chorus, she dances in front of a white wall with barcode-like light installations with six male dancers. There also scenes of her dancing provocatively with two male dancers. At the bridge, there are intercut close-ups of her that end with a smirk. The video concludes with Spears dancing with the two male dancers and cuts to a close-up of her looking into the camera. In the video, all the lines saying "...living in sin is the new thing" is changed to "...living in this is the new thing". Daniel Kreps of Rolling Stone called the video "borderline tasteful" and compared the choreography and the simple backgrounds to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" and added that while its not Britneys best (its nowhere near her Slave 4 U clip), [] we havent seen her dancing with this much conviction since the In the Zone era. Jocelyn Vena of MTV also gave the video a positive review, stating that it's a "sexy, fast-paced clip" and that "there are a few moments in the video where Britney's personality shines" adding that "she smiles at the song's tongue-in-cheek lyrics, particularly when she finishes the song's bridge." "3" is a song by American pop singer Britney Spears, from her upcoming second greatest hits compilation, The Singles Collection. It was released as the lead single of the album on September 29, 2009 by Jive Records. The song was produced by Max Martin and Shellback while Spears was on tour in Sweden. "3" is an uptempo dance song, that features a heavy bassline and has influences of electropop and rave. Lyrically, the track is about threesomes. "3" received positive critical appreciation from contemporary critics. The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking many of the charts records. It premiered on MTV on July 30th at 8pm and features a live wolf. A video for the Spanish version was also released. Shakira's official website described the video as "An inventively sexy video directed by Jake Nava and featuring the metamorphosis of a woman told through her unique dance techniques". The video premiered as expected to a positive review from MTV. James Montgomery for MTV praised Shakira's dancing skills stating "Shakira has taken the art of body-contorting to new (somewhat unsettling) highs in "She Wolf". She herks and jerks, folds herself in half, torques vertebrae, lifts legs over her head, pops her shoulders in and out of their sockets, hangs upside down, nearly topples over ... the list goes on and on. She out-dances everyone in the business, and even manages to out-Beyoncé". The video begins with Shakira walking into a closet (leaving her lover asleep) where she bodypops and dances by herself, also paying tribute to Michael Jackson's famous anti-gravity lean on Smooth Criminal, "He was the king of artistic magic," Shakira said on an interview from Good Morning America. Then, the closet transforms into a club with her dancing with five backup dancers. Afterthat, it shows her in a gold cage making seductive poses. The scene switches back & forth. Next, a wolf is walking and then transforms into a girl at the club. In the final scene it shows Shakira dancing on top of a high building in San Francisco and dancing with a ladder. The final scene switches back & forth to every scene in the video. A newer video was posted on Shakira's official website on September 30. It uses an edit of the Deeplick Remix, and is compiled of clips from the cage scenes from the previous video. It also features some clips that were not used in the original video. The UK premier of the music video was online at MSN in late July 2009, although on television it first appeared on 4Music in August 2. The music video was shown in the North American theater of PlayStation Home from July 30, 2009 to August 6, 2009 and was brought back for one day on August 13, 2009 and then again on August 24, 2009.
