JAPANESE WATER POWERED CAR!! By raviwfc As per the claims it runs only on a 300W "Water Energy System (WES)" where WATER is the only FUEL. The basic power generation mechanism of the new system is similar to that of a normal fuel cell, which uses hydrogen as a fuel. According to Genepax, the main feature of the new system is that it uses the company's membrane electrode assembly (MEA), which contains a material capable of breaking down water into hydrogen and oxygen through a chemical reaction. A Japanese venture company, Genepax, has unveiled a car on that runs on water. All it requires is a litre of water. In fact, any kind of water to be exact, whether its river, rain, sea water, or even Japanese tea. Its an electric powered car that runs solely on hydrogen dioxide. "The main characteristic of this car is that no external input is needed. The car will continue to run as long as you have a bottle of water inside for you to add from time to time," said Kiyoshi Hirasawa, Chief Executive Officer of Genepax, after he proudly announced the company's invention. Once water is poured into the water tank at the back of the car, the newly invented energy generator takes out the hydrogen from the water, releases electrons and finally generates electrical power. "We highly recommend our system since it does not require you to build up an infrastructure to recharge your batteries, which is usually the case for most electric cars," said Hirasawa, who is hoping to advertise the car in time for the upcoming G8 Summit in Hokkaido, Japan. According to the company, 1 liter of water keeps the car running for about an hour with a speed of 80 kilometers or 50 miles an hour. The company has applied for a patent and is hoping to collaborate with Japanese automobile manufacturers to mass manufacture their invention in the very near future. As fuel prices continue rising and people look for greener alternatives, companies globally are trying to come up with alternatives. Bob Dylan - Talkin' World War III Blues By heroesofthesidewalk "Talkin' World War III Blues" was a spontaneous composition created in the studio during Dylan's final session for The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. On April 24, 1963, Dylan cut five of his newest compositions: "Girl from the North Country," "Masters of War," "Talkin' World War III Blues," "Bob Dylan's Dream," and "Walls of Red Wing." "Walls of Red Wing" was ultimately rejected (it was later released on The Bootleg Series Volumes 1-3 (Rare & Unreleased) 1961-1991), but the other four were included in the revised album sequence. The final drama of recording Freewheelin' occurred when Dylan appeared on the The Ed Sullivan Show on May 12, 1963. Dylan had chosen to perform "Talkin' John Birch Society Blues" but was informed by the 'head of program practices' at CBS Television that this song was potentially libelous to the John Birch Society. Rather than comply with TV censorship, Dylan refused to appear. According to biographer Clinton Heylin. "There remains a common belief that [Dylan] was forced by Columbia to pull "Talkin' John Birch Society Blues" from the album after he walked out on The Ed Sullivan Show." However, the 'revised' version of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan was released on May 27, 1963; this would have given Columbia Records only two weeks to recut the album, reprint the record sleeves, and press and package enough copies of the new version to fill orders. Heylin argues that CBS had probably forced Dylan to withdraw "John Birch" from the album some weeks earlier. Dylan responded to this by recording new material on April 24, and replacing four songs ("John Birch," "Let Me Die in My Footsteps," "Ramblin' Gamblin' Willie," "Rocks and Gravel") with his more recent compositions. The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan is Dylan's second studio album, released in May 1963 by Columbia Records. Dylan's debut album, Bob Dylan, had featured just two original songs. Freewheelin' contained just two covers, the traditional tune "Corrina, Corrina", and "Honey, Just Allow Me One More Chance" — which Dylan re-wrote extensively. All the other songs were Dylan originals and the Freewheelin' album showcased for the first time Dylan's song-writing talent. The album kicked off with "Blowin' in the Wind," which would become one of Dylan's most celebrated songs. In July 1963, the song became an international hit for folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary. The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan reached number 22 in the US (eventually going platinum), and later became a number 1 hit in the UK in 1965. It was one of 50 recordings chosen in 2002 by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recording Registry. In 2003, the album was ranked number 97 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Nirvana en los Mtv Music Awards 1992 - Lithium By articoblues http://allnirvana.blogspot.com http://elgoldemessi.blogspot.com http://dejamejugar.blogspot.com Mtv le había pedido a Nirvana que interpretaran su arrollador éxito "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (ganador de dos premios en la ceremonia), pero la banda había decidido tocar dos canciones nuevas, "Rape Me" y "tourette's". Los ejecutivos de Mtv no querían que toquen "Rape Me" ("Viólame") y siguieron presionando al grupo para que interpretaran "Teen Spirit". Finalmente, el canal les dio la opción de tocar "Lithium", lo cual la banda aceptó. Sin embargo, al comenzar su presentación, Kurt Cobain toca los primeros acordes de "Rape Me" ante el horror de los ejecutivos, y rápidamente cambian a "Lithium"; nirvana tenia esa cosa anticomercial, dentro de las posibilidades que te dan millones de discos vendidos, no solo no tocaron el hit sino q también kurt se salio con la suya cantando esas primeras estrofas de Rape me y dejando todos en Mtv con la boca abierta. Luego, justo antes de terminar la canción Krist Novoselic quiso hacer el truco de lanzar el bajo al aire y volverlo a agarrar, desafortunadamente el instrumento le pegó en la cabeza dejándolo tendido y aturdido, finalmente salio del escenario con un corte en la cabeza. Al terminar el tema Kurt y Dave comenzaron a destruir los equipos, hasta que Dave decidió saludar a Axl Rose (Guns n' Roses) y empezó a gritar "Hi, Axl!" " Where is Axl?" "Hi, Axl!", quien se suponía que tocaría mas tarde en el mismo escenario. Kurt aclaro después: -Al parecer Axl estaba de muy mal humor, estábamos sentados con Courtney y Frances, y con algunos amigos en la carpa de Mtv cuando paso Axl con unos guardaespaldas y alguien que los filmaba, Courtney bromeando le grito: -Hey Axl, serias el padrino de nuestra hija? y Axl comenzó a señalarnos e insultarnos, dijo: haz callar a tu perra! así que mire Courtney y le dije: -Cállate perra!! (Esto ocurrió antes de la presentación de Nirvana) Después escuchamos que Duff (bajista de Guns n' Roses) quería pegarle a Krist. Esa noche Nirvana se llevo 2 premios de las 4 nominaciones que tuvieron, los premios fueron por: "Mejor Video de Musica Alternativa" y "Mejor Artista Nuevo", el primer premio lo recibió un falso Michael Jackson seguidos por unos policías (enviado claramente por la banda), mostrando otra vez su auto-boicot.
