Tiananmen Square mourners march on after 20 years http://www.scmp.com/video In the run up to the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square crackdown, thousands of Hong Kongers staged a rally today to remember those who died on that fateful day of June 4th, 1989. People of all ages marched from Victoria Park in Causeway Bay to the Central Government Office in Central. Organisers put a tally of 8,000 while police sources say 4,500 turned out. Spearheaded by students born on 1989, organisers wished to make sure youngsters will continue to carry on efforts to commemorate the bloody incident that still continues to haunt the Chinese government.
