[View \| Download]	Robo Topobo Robo Topobo brings the improvisation and performative thrill of video games to hands-on modeling and invention. "Robo" is a controller that children can use to save, replay and adjust playback of up to four Topobo recordings. With Topobo a child can bring his creations to life, and with Robo he can direct them like robotic puppets in a performance or like organic machines in a competition. To use Robo, a child will build a creation with Topobo and physically program it by twisting its body around. He can save the recording with Robo by pressing Robo's "record" button and then pressing one of its four "playback" buttons to assign the motion to that button. He can also play the motion backwards and use two joysticks on Robo to change the speed and size of the motion. We are using Topobo to remove many of the restrictions of computers for children. The Burj Dubai tower is designed to be the centerpiece of a large-scale, mixed-use development that will include 30,000 homes, nine hotels, 6 acres of parkland, 19+ residential towers, the Dubai Mall, and a large man-made lake. The complete 500 acre development will cost about $20 billion dollars (US). Once completed, the tower will cover a total of over 22 million square feet of development. The official height of the Burj Dubai is kept secret because of international competition, but current estimates have it rising to a height in excess of 2,600 feet. Some estimate that it will be 189 floors or so - it is to be the tallest building in the world. Recently, the construction site already surpassed height needed to make it (uncompeted) the second tallest building in the world. The Burj Dubai is located in Dubai which is a city in the emirate of Dubai, part of the United arab Emirates in the Gulf region of the Middle East. Tous les produits de construction, les revêtements de mur ou de sol et les peintures et vernis mis sur le marché à partir du début d'année devront en effet arborer une étiquette indiquant les substances volatiles émises dans l'air et la classe à laquelle appartient le produit (A+, A, B ou C selon leur niveau d'émissions). Les produits mis sur le marché avant le 1er janvier disposent d'un délai supplémentaire, jusqu'au 1er septembre 2013. 10 composés concernés + le total Concrètement, la valeur indiquée sur l'étiquette est établie sur la base des émissions de 11 polluants, à savoir : formaldéhyde, acétaldéhyde, toluène, tetrachloroéthylène, xylène, 1,2,4-triméthylbenzène, 1,4-dichlorobenzène, éthylbenzène, 2-butoxyéthanol, styrène ainsi que sur les composés organiques volatils totaux (COVT). Une liste importante et assez complète en l'état actuel des connaissances sur les polluants organiques, notamment CMR connus, mais pas exhaustive. Autant dire qu'un produit estempillé A+ ne saurait garantir l'absence totale de risque sanitaire lors d'une exposition prolongée. De même l'étiquette n'a pas vocation à décrire l'impact environnemental, écologique et / ou carbone du produit visé, ni même son origine.
