Holding a bold lens to this hapless plight is the animation short film Chamki which highlights the harsh treatment meted out to the protagonist. The film uses a strong metaphor to voice a strong concern to stop the discrimination and allow the girl child the freedom to pursue her dreams and aspirations without prejudice.
