With the huge publicity this mashup has gotten, it is time to release some more versions of this track in keeping with the versioning system that has been put into to place. I have worked with DJ Tripp (the author of the famous "Express This Way" mashup)on making these club mixes happen. Tripp has also worked on many other releases for Bootie, so it is really great to collab with him on this. Another version has come out, thanks to your comments and concerns, and that's the TRULY SHORTENED Mashup. The ULTIMATE version of this song, the TRULY DEFINITIVE, was filled with great samples, but also had TOO MUCH fat that made it excessively long and unnecessarily bland. The 10:36 version was cut down to 8:12, thus the term TRULY SHORTENED. What did I take out? Namely the Flo-Rida and Nicki Minaj verses and the Etta James part which created a slight buzz kill in the TRULY DEFINITIVE. All the rest remains the same, and better yet, I only had to cut a measly TWO SAMPLES in the process--18 samples in 8 minutes ain't too shabby for a mashup mix.
