It'll be the first time I'll share my other subbed videos. Moving on, this is the theme song for China's Hana Yori Dango franchise. The 4th one in the making to date, and even though I haven't watched it yet, the OST is very promising. ----------------------------- Artist(s): I'm not listing all 4 members since it's in the vid, so I'll reference them as H4 Title: Let Me Sing A Song For You Year: 2009 Album: Meteor Shower OST -------------------- Just for the curious, here are my two cents on the HYD series in each country so far. Taiwanese: I absolutely love the cast even though the acting sucked. Jerry Yan seems to be the most devoted (loving) DomYoJi character out of the three aired so far, although losing his tough persona throughout the drama. This series followed the manga more closely than the others, but the second season totally killed the leads' relationship (which seemed unbreakable); there were also rumors (confirmed?) that the two real drama leads weren't getting along well together. Japanese: Loved all the acting and the actors! Best one by far on everything. The triangle here is where I'm rooting for Rui, but of course, he doesn't come out victorious. Matsumoto Jun portrayed DYJ so perfectly that his image is etched forever in your memory when someone mentions HYD. All two series + movie were worth watching every minute because the leads' chemistry together played well for their on-screen characters. Korean: I have nothing much to say; never finished it. Don't plan to because yeah, I did watch the first episode, but I couldn't even get through 20 minutes into the drama. The F4 here seemed so out of place here (sure, they're all pretty to look at but....); they all seemed weird together and didn't even look like they'd been friends since childhood. It also seemed to focus a lot on what people like(d) to call SoEulMates(????), not enough Jandi + Gu Jun Pyo scenes (& I find it annoying how Kim Bum doesn't really look like a player enough. :p ). The two leads seemed to not share any chemistry on-screen and the acting was very hard to watch. I haven't seen the 4th one yet, and plan to watch it, or maybe not. I think, the Japanese one excels at everything that nothing can top it for now; I think that if I had watched it first, I might hate the TW version, but the thing is is that I can re-watch it again and not mind so much, unlike the K one. It'll be the first time I'll share my other subbed videos. Moving on, this is the theme song for China's Hana Yori Dango franchise. The 4th one in the making to date, and even though I haven't watched it yet, the OST is very promising. ----------------------------- Artist(s): I'm not listing all 4 members since it's in the vid, so I'll reference them as H4 Title: Let Me Sing A Song For You Year: 2009 Album: Meteor Shower OST -------------------- Just for the curious, here are my two cents on the HYD series in each country so far. Taiwanese: I absolutely love the cast even though the acting sucked. Jerry Yan seems to be the most devoted (loving) DomYoJi character out of the three aired so far, although losing his tough persona throughout the drama. This series followed the manga more closely than the others, but the second season totally killed the leads' relationship (which seemed unbreakable); there were also rumors (confirmed?) that the two real drama leads weren't getting along well together. Japanese: Loved all the acting and the actors! Best one by far on everything. The triangle here is where I'm rooting for Rui, but of course, he doesn't come out victorious. Matsumoto Jun portrayed DYJ so perfectly that his image is etched forever in your memory when someone mentions HYD. All two series + movie were worth watching every minute because the leads' chemistry together played well for their on-screen characters. Korean: I have nothing much to say; never finished it. Don't plan to because yeah, I did watch the first episode, but I couldn't even get through 20 minutes into the drama. The F4 here seemed so out of place here (sure, they're all pretty to look at but....); they all seemed weird together and didn't even look like they'd been friends since childhood. It also seemed to focus a lot on what people like(d) to call SoEulMates(????), not enough Jandi + Gu Jun Pyo scenes (& I find it annoying how Kim Bum doesn't really look like a player enough. :p ). The two leads seemed to not share any chemistry on-screen and the acting was very hard to watch. I haven't seen the 4th one yet, and plan to watch it, or maybe not. I think, the Japanese one excels at everything that nothing can top it for now; I think that if I had watched it first, I might hate the TW version, but the thing is is that I can re-watch it again and not mind so much, unlike the K one.
