Andie's foster mother is tired of the crime and harassment by the 410 and tells Andie she will have to go to live with her aunt in Texas if she doesn't turn her life around. Andie's friend and older brother figure Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) persuades her to audition for the Maryland School of the Arts, where Andie receives a place. When Andie's studies come before the crew, the members are not happy and decide to drop her. Andie meets Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman). When romantic sparks occur between these two dance students from different backgrounds, influencing Andie to form her own crew to compete. So Andie and Chase forms a new crew with help from many people Chase knew at the school. Director Collins, Chase's older brother, wouldn't allow anyone from the school to be involved in these kinds of illegal competitions. But Chase copied the key to the studio and the crew secretly practiced their routine late at night when the school was empty. Missy, joins the crew after dropping out of the 410 following Andie's removal. Missy told the crew that the only way to enter the streets is to first do a prank and post it on the internet to show that the crew is entering the competition. Wanting revenge from being humiliated before, Chase decides for their prank they were going to make a fool out of Tuck, leader of the 410, and also left a dead fish in the vent of Tuck's home. But the 410 didn't like the fact that they had a new crew to compete with so they warned Andie's new crew to stay out of the Streets or there would be consequences. Eventually Chase and Andie fall in love with each other. But when Tuck found out where Chase was, he assaulted him because of his prank. This left Chase coming into school the next day badly bruised and hurt. On top of that the dance studio was trashed by the 410 late at night and people noticed it when they were in school. Director Collins had no choice but to expel Andie from MSA because of her involvement with the 410 earlier on. When Andie's foster mother heard the news she told Andie that she had enough and that Andie would be going to Texas and that was final. It seemed the crew and Andie's relationship with Chase was coming to an end. When Andie was packing her bags to leave to Texas she received a text message that the Streets was on that night, the same night as the fund raising MSA was hosting. The rest of the crew received the message as well and Chase decided to make a stand for what he believed was right and left the fund raiser to go find Andie, with the rest of the crew following him. When they got Andie, they went to the streets and won the competition. In the end Andie and Chase had their first long romantic kiss with each other and the 410 was defeated after 5 long years. Skins ITA 4x01 - Thomas 1/6 Per saltare la pubblicità: 0:01 Skins è una serie televisiva britannica di genere teen drama che segue un gruppo di adolescenti di Bristol (città situata a sud-ovest della Gran Bretagna) durante gli ultimi due anni di scuole superiori. La controversa trama affronta argomenti quali le famiglie problematiche, disturbi della personalità, disordini alimentari, abuso di droghe, sesso, gravidanza giovanile, malattie mentali e morte. La serie è stata ideata dagli scrittori padre e figlio Jamie Brittain e Bryan Elsley per la "Company Pictures". In Inghilterra viene trasmessa dal 25 gennaio 2007 sul canale E4, mentre in Italia la serie viene trasmessa in anteprima dal 20 gennaio 2008 sul canale MTV Italia. La serie è famosa per l'utilizzo di attori e giovani sceneggiatori esordienti. Il cast viene completamente rinnovato ogni due anni, ovvero quando gli studenti terminano le scuole superiori. Di Skins sono state trasmesse quattro stagioni ed è stato rinnovato fino alla sesta. Un film tratto dalla serie è attualmente in programma così come un adattamento americano curato dalla MTV Networks, ambientato a Baltimora, nel Maryland. La storia ruota attorno alla vita di un gruppo di ragazzi, dai sedici ai diciotto anni, che vivono nella cittadina di Bristol, in Inghilterra. Ogni episodio tratta un personaggio in particolare tra i protagonisti, approfondendone le vicende; tuttavia sono molteplici le situazioni sviluppate lungo il corso della serie. Il titolo della serie fa riferimento al termine in uso nel gergo inglese per indicare le cartine per le "canne". Effy Stonem (Kaya Scodelario), la sorella di Tony, diviene la protagonista dalla terza stagione. Effy è una ragazza molto bella e molto desiderata, è una leader naturale, come suo fratello, ma è anche molto fredda nel comportamento e cerca di tenere nascosti i propri problemi. Pandora Moon (Lisa Backwell) è la migliore amica di Effy. Quando Thomas Tomone (Merveille Lukeba) giunge in Inghilterra dal Congo, riesce a far breccia nel suo cuore grazie al suo animo buono. Katie Fitch (Megan Prescott) e Emily Fitch (Kathryn Prescott) sono gemelle, quasi identiche fisicamente, ma molto diverse caratterialmente. Sempre in cerca di popolarità, Katie vuole usurpare il posto di Effy come ragazza più contesa e dominare la vita della sorella. Emily cerca di guadagnare con difficoltà l'affetto di Naomi Campbell (Lily Loveless), un' ardente e appassionata ragazza, idealista e con un sacco di ambizioni, fermamente convinta di non essere gay. Anche se Naomi aiuta Emily ad accettare il fatto di essere gay, non riesce a dichiararle i propri sentimenti e, soprattutto, non riesce a dirlo agli altri suoi amici. James Cook (Jack O' Connell), Freddie Mclair (Luke Pasqualino) e JJ Jones (Ollie Barbieri) sono amici fin dall'infanzia. Cook è carismatico e socievole, ma è chiassoso e non ha il minimo timore di infrangere le regole. Freddie, al contrario, è un semplice skater che ama fumare erba e che deve sempre badare al suo amico Cook, entrambi sono innamorati di Effy. Carfi domina técnicas de ornamentação vocal, envolvendo improvisações com melismas, sem falar em sua ampla tessitura e agilidade vocal. Esta demonstração foi gravada numa aula particular de técnica vocal ministrada a mim, no ano de 2007, para exemplificar o uso das diversas técnicas estudadas no curso. The astonishing brazilian gospel singer Ton Carfi gives us a demonstration of his talent and knowlegde by singing "O melhor lugar do mundo" (The best place in the world). Carfi masters ornamentation techniques involving melisma, licks, runs and trills, not to mention his wide tessitura and vocal agility. This exhibition was recorded during a private vocal class to me, in 2007, to exemplify the proper usage of the several techniques studied in the attended course.
