Em meio a caminhões e outros veículos de grande porte, o cachorro se aproximou do animal atropelado e, com dificuldade, o arrastou para a margem da rodovia Vespucio Norte. Rapidamente, funcionários chegaram e retiraram os dois animais. O cão vítima do atropelamento não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu ainda no local.
