I was a Scout/Sniper with 1-23rd Infantry 2ID and served a 15 month tour in Baghdad. Feel free to ask me any questions. Due to my experiences over there I am against the war wholeheartedly. I believe we as Americans were lied to about the reasons why we went to war with Iraq. You are more than welcome to disagree with me but at least understand that my position is based of my personal experience as a grunt fighting the war. The previous blog I put up stated that I believed that Obama was going to get us out of this mess. While that remains to be seen I do not believe it is happening soon enough. I want my buddies and fellow soldiers who are in harms way for a lost cause to come home safe. If you agree with the war let me ask you this. Why is the war worth fighting for others but not for you yourself? If you believe it to be a worthy cause why not back your beliefs and relieve the stress on an overburdened military?
