SIR Gerald Kaufman, the veteran Labour MP, yesterday compared the actions of Israeli troops in Gaza to the Nazis who forced his family to flee Poland. During a Commons debate on the fighting in Gaza, he urged the government to impose an arms embargo on Israel. He accused the Israeli government of seeking "conquest" and added: " They are not simply war criminals, they are fools." iPhone 3GS dropped in the pool. Still works! Update: 7/1/09: People seem to think I work for Apple. Do you hear that Apple? I would be more than willing to work for you and move to Cupertino, CA. Just let me know. Free stuff also appreciated :-) Uploaded Cover info and strap. Check my other video. I updated info for people having questions about format, why I didn't upload from iPhone, and lanyard. I had NO IDEA this was going to get this much response!!!! Click on 'more info' above to see all of it. Was trying video on my new iPhone 3G S at the pool and dropped it in the pool. Don't know if it's waterproof, but it still works fine. I had a few people comment on seeing a strap in the video. I have a rubber cover and had put a strap through the earpiece hole to avoid just this type of thing. I didn't have it on my wrist at the time, but believe me, I will from now on!!!! Maybe the rubber cover helped with it not getting damaged. Update: Got people wondering why I didn't upload straight from iPhone and aspect ratio. As FYI, I downloaded video to computer, and used NeroVision to make 'YouTube' Friendly and as small as possible. Apparently, it changed the format. As you can see, this is my first vid on YouTube, so I didn't know. Wish I had kept the original. I will take a video of case with strap when I get back from vacation and upload it DIRECTLY from my iPhone. Any other videos I upload will be directly from iPhone (learned my lesson). As of 6/28/09, phone still works fine. Re: Broken N95 after the new firmware update in the U.S. Here is another video showing different aspects of the problem that I am currently encountering. Consider my first video showing problems of general usage, and this one of reboot and keypad lock. When you consider these 2 videos, you will understand that the phone is unusable in any phase --turning on the phone, finding a contact, calling someone, turning Bluetooth on/off, locking the keypad, even turning off the phone, since sometimes it doesn't turn off! 1) In the first reboot you will see that after entering my pin code an utter white screen pops up as a transition to the main screen. 2) Unlike the first reboot, in the second reboot you will see that, the "code error" prompt, after I enter a mistaken pin, and the "code accepted" prompt, after I enter the correct pin, moves slightly rightwards. In fact this has got nothing to do with entering a mistaken pin, since this happens many times regardless of the pin you enter. Sometimes the screen goes dark right after entering a pin code. Sometimes after entering a pin if I press the red hang up button instead of waiting for the introduction screen to elapse --two hands meet each other you know- the screen again goes dark. 3) In the very same second reboot you will also see that when I slide down the slider, instead of key pads are being locked, all the icons messes up! --they mix between each other and colors of them change! (I ensure you this is not a new theme of Nokia for your screen!) 4) You will also see that after sliding up and down the slider again, the keypad doesn't lock up. 5) After sliding up and pressing exit to omit the "new voice message" alert, the screen goes dark immediately! 6) Finally, after sliding up and down again, the keypad gets locked. However, as you will see, whenever the keypad gets locked, the dedicated gallery button flashes on and off 2 times. I am not 100% sure whether this was happening before with the older firmwares, but as far as I remember, it did not. I ensure you the things that you have just seen happen in every combination.
