[View \| Download]	Boogiezone University 2009 - Mike Song - Nintendo Wii Choreography MEET MIKE SONG As a child, growing up in Torrance, California , Mike Song was inspired to dance by the likes of American artists such as Michael Jackson and Usher as well as Korean artists such as HOT and Yoo Seung Jun. At first, he only displayed his moves at church alleys, radio show contests, and whenever he was on the losing end of a bet. However, w hen he entered UC irvine in 2004 as an economics major, he joineKaba Modern, which changed his life. In a few short years, he became director of Kaba Modern.During his year as director in 2007, Kaba Modern won 1 st Place in the USA at Hip Hop Internationals , and 2 nd Place in the World. Mike went on to represent the team in the first season of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Since then, he has traveled extensively (both domestically and internationally), to perform and teach, and hopefully, inspire others to dance and promote positivity . He has also judged and battled at various dance events. In 2007, Mike won 1 st place at the Annual In the Spotlight Battle in Southern California. Mike has taught workshops in Guam , Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Norway , Hawaii , Mexico, South Africa , and continues to travel and teach around the world. Mike is currently the artistic director of Kaba Modern Legacy and a choreographer/dancer for Culture Shock Los Angeles and Kallusive Dance Crew.
