Commonly, a PC will show a message like 'Press Del to enter Setup' to indicate that you need to press the 'Del' key. Some AMI BIOS require you to enable the option 'USB Keyboard Legacy support'. For AMI BIOS (follow steps 1 or 2 depending on your BIOS type): 1. Go to 'Feature Setup'. 'Enable' these options: 'USB Function Support', 'USB Function For DOS' and 'ThumbDrive for DOS'. Go to 'Advanced Setup'. Set the '1st Boot Device' to 'USB RMD-FDD'. Reboot the PC and it now should automatically boot from the USB flash drive without you having to select it from the boot menu. 2. Go to 'USB Mass Storage Device Configuration'. Select 'Emulation Type' and set it to 'Harddisk'. Go to the 'Boot Menu' and set the '1st boot device' to 'USB-Stick'. Exit the BIOS and save the changes. For PHOENIX/AWARD BIOS (my laptop's BIOS): Go to 'Advanced BIOS Features'. Go to the '1st Boot device' and set it to 'USB-ZIP'. B: The laptop is turned OFF! C: Plug the USB stick in! Press and HOLD down the FN and ESC key TOGETHER Then press the power button, Whilst holding the buttons! Release the power button and continue holding FN and ESC for about 5 seconds. Release the buttons and the power light will start to blink. Let the laptop run and DO NOT press anything This can take upto 7 mins When it's done the laptop will restart. It should now work :D This is for the Acer Aspire One netbook laptop. Okay in this video I show you how to Play Playstation (1) games on your Android phone. Outlined below are the steps. Don't forget to first download PSX4Droid from the Android market. Also, remember, you will need at least 150 MB of space on your SD card when downloading roms. PSX4DROID has been removed from the android market, however, you can still download it from here. http://www.mediafire.com/?57pu2w90u7u11lr Once you download it, move it to your SD card and install, then continue the normal procedure. Note you will need to have non market apps enabled in your application settings on your phone. Step 1: Download rom: I use the site below to get my roms. Of course, you can download them from anywhere. http://www.emuparadise.org/Sony_Playstation_ISOs/2 Step 2: Unzip the rom. In it, check for a file with either a .bin, or .img extension. If you have a rom with either a .ecm or .bin.ecm extension then you will need to convert it to .bin. *Note- BIN, ISO, IMG, PBP, Z, ZNX, are the only file extensions supported. Converting: If you need to convert your rom download this. http://roms.zophar.net/images/ecm100.zip One you download it, drag and drop your .ecm or .ecm.bin file onto the ecm.exe file in the folder you just download. Command prompt will open and it will output your .bin file in the same location in which your .ecm file was. Step 3: Download the bios. A bios is need in order for the psx emulator to run properly. Go here and download the file name BIOS PSX(scph1001.bin) http://dragonballarena.gamesurf.it/english/media/giochi/psx.php Step 4: Extract the bios and look for a file named scph1001.bin Step 5: Transfer the rom and the bios to your phone. Step 6: In the psx emulator app on your phone, go into settings, and set the location in which you placed the bios on your SD card. Then go back and find your rom and open it. To Enter the BIOS press the 'Del' button on your keyboard or, depending on the type of bios, one of these alternatives: 'F1', 'F2', 'F8', 'F10' 'F12', 'insert' or 'tab'. Commonly, a PC will show a message like 'Press Del to enter Setup' to indicate that you need to press the 'Del' key. Some AMI BIOS require you to enable the option 'USB Keyboard Legacy support'. For AMI BIOS (follow steps 1 or 2 depending on your BIOS type): 1. Go to 'Feature Setup'. 'Enable' these options: 'USB Function Support', 'USB Function For DOS' and 'ThumbDrive for DOS'. Go to 'Advanced Setup'. Set the '1st Boot Device' to 'USB RMD-FDD'. Reboot the PC and it now should automatically boot from the USB flash drive without you having to select it from the boot menu. 2. Go to 'USB Mass Storage Device Configuration'. Select 'Emulation Type' and set it to 'Harddisk'. Go to the 'Boot Menu' and set the '1st boot device' to 'USB-Stick'. Exit the BIOS and save the changes. For PHOENIX/AWARD BIOS (my laptop's BIOS): Go to 'Advanced BIOS Features'. Go to the '1st Boot device' and set it to 'USB-ZIP'. B: The laptop is turned OFF! C: Plug the USB stick in! Press and HOLD down the FN and ESC key TOGETHER Then press the power button, Whilst holding the buttons! Release the power button and continue holding FN and ESC for about 5 seconds. Release the buttons and the power light will start to blink. Let the laptop run and DO NOT press anything This can take upto 7 mins When it's done the laptop will restart. It should now work :D This is for the Acer Aspire One netbook laptop. Okay in this video I show you how to Play Playstation (1) games on your Android phone. Outlined below are the steps. Don't forget to first download PSX4Droid from the Android market. Also, remember, you will need at least 150 MB of space on your SD card when downloading roms. PSX4DROID has been removed from the android market, however, you can still download it from here. http://www.mediafire.com/?57pu2w90u7u11lr Once you download it, move it to your SD card and install, then continue the normal procedure. Note you will need to have non market apps enabled in your application settings on your phone. Step 1: Download rom: I use the site below to get my roms. Of course, you can download them from anywhere. http://www.emuparadise.org/Sony_Playstation_ISOs/2 Step 2: Unzip the rom. In it, check for a file with either a .bin, or .img extension. If you have a rom with either a .ecm or .bin.ecm extension then you will need to convert it to .bin. *Note- BIN, ISO, IMG, PBP, Z, ZNX, are the only file extensions supported. Converting: If you need to convert your rom download this. http://roms.zophar.net/images/ecm100.zip One you download it, drag and drop your .ecm or .ecm.bin file onto the ecm.exe file in the folder you just download. Command prompt will open and it will output your .bin file in the same location in which your .ecm file was. Step 3: Download the bios. A bios is need in order for the psx emulator to run properly.
