Dola Re Dola - Devdas (2002) By Jivana1 Devdas (2002): a great cinematic spectacle of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and one of the most expensive Indian film with some superlative performances and an amazing star cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit..The choreography is absolutely fantastic, The film Devdas brings together two of India´s best dancer: Madhuri & Aish. The story is based on Sarat Chandra Chaterjee's novel. This novel has been presented thrice on screen (P.C.Barua: 1935, Bimal Roy: 1955 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali: 2002). The story itself is pretty simple: a tragic triangle love story. Devdas and Paro are childhood friends..One day Devdas is sent away to England to further his studies. Parvati (Paro) waits for him and lights a diya signifying her undying love for Devdas but at the time when he returns, their dreams are thrashed by Devdas's parents...As soon as Devdas realises what he has lost, it's too late... At times the story goes slow. In these moments, one can keeps his eyes glued to the screen, because of visually stunning, Devdas is full of colors and the visuals make for some interesting viewing. Silsila Ye Chaahat Ka By BaBjane I just wanted to upload this scene from the movie « Devdas » by the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. OST by Ismaël Darbar. I owe nothing. This is for me one of the most beautiful scenes from the movie. What is the setting? Devdas and Paro (Parvati) are 10 years old, and they are the best friends of the worlds. But Devdas has to go abroad in England, to study, and so, far away from Paro. The little girl is so sad that she decided to put on a candle for Devdas, and to keep the flame alive until Devdas is back. 10 years later, the flame never faded away, and Paro just learn that Dedvas is back in town. In this scene and song ("Silsila Ye Chaahat Ka"), Paro tells how she never let the flame to be blown up, and how much she loves Devdas. Look at the scene, and if you haven't seen the movie before, just watch it. Formovie, it's the best, the most beautiful and moving Bollywood movie ever, and it also shows how beautiful Aishwarya Rai is. This video is only made for fun.
