The Easybeats - Friday On My Mind By myBeatclub Die komplette Beat Club-Folge mit diesem Auftritt zum Download im iTunes Store: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZ... You may think that British Invasion or Beat Music were typically British phenomena? No, they weren't ... Actually Australia got their own Beatlemania - here called "Easyfever" as a result of The Easybeats! The Easybeats were the greatest Australian pop band in the 60s and scored the first international hit for an Australian band with the song "Friday On my Mind". Later the two guitarists, George Young and Henry Vanda, became a famous songwriter and producer duo. Their work includes the first seven albums of AC/DC - featuring George's younger brothers Angus and Malcolm Young! And don't forget their 80s pop group Flash & the Pan with the hits "Early Morning Wake Up Call" an "Midnight Man". The Beatles - I'm Only Sleeping (Stereo) (Remastered) By TheOneBeatle Stereo Remastered. Put &fmt=18 at the end of the url and refresh. Recorded in: Abbey Road, 27 April 1966 Genre: Psychedelic Rock Producer: George Martin John Lennon: lead vocal, backwards lead guitar, acoustic guitar Paul McCartney: bass guitar, harmony vocal George Harrison: backwards lead guitar, harmony vocal Ringo Starr: drums "I'm Only Sleeping" is a song by The Beatles that appeared on their studio album Revolver (in the US on the Yesterday and Today album). Though the song-writing credit is Lennon-McCartney, it was written mostly by John Lennon. It is unique because it features a dual guitar solo by George Harrison played backwards and an electronically compressed rhythm guitar track. The solo is consistent with the rest of the song because Harrison took great pains to practice the entire melody of his solo backwards, so that when reversed and mixed in, it would fit the overall dreamlike mood of the rest of the song. This hazy, disjointed mood on top of the lyrics suggest a drug-induced state rather than actual dreaming, and this is the most widely accepted interpretation of the song. However, the first draft of Lennon's lyrics for "I'm Only Sleeping", written on the back of a letter from 1966, suggest that he actually was writing about the joys of staying in bed rather than any drug euphoria. In fact, Lennon loved staying in bed or on a couch, and when he wasn't sleeping, he would sit in it and read, write, or watch television. In a March 1966 interview with Maureen Cleave, the same interview in which Lennon made his "more popular than Jesus" remark, Cleave said, "He can sleep almost indefinitely, is probably the laziest person in England." Lennon would later write another song on the subject of sleep (or the lack of in this case) with "I'm So Tired"'. It appeared on The White Album two years later. BEATLES VERSIONS The mono and stereo versions "I'm Only Sleeping" differ greatly as to the positioning and tracking of the backwards guitar: U.K. stereo version: Features the backwards track during the second verse, through the entire instrumental break, and at the end of the song (immediately after the last verse). U.S. stereo version: Same as U.K. stereo, except that the track fades in a second after the beginning of the instrumental break, thus the first fragment is not heard. Mono version: No backwards track during the second verse, but a quick fragment is heard between "taking my time" and "lying there and staring at the ceiling" that does not appear on the stereo versions. The track is fully intact during the instrumental break. However, the first fragment from the ending is not heard as it fades in a second later. Instrumental version: a 40-second instrumental rehearsal take of the song appears on The Beatles' Anthology 2 featuring, curiously, prominent vibraphone. The Beatles - Don't Pass Me By (Mono) By TheOneBeatle READ DESCRIPTION TO KNOW THE STORY. I DO NOT OWN THE BEATLES. (IMAGES & SONG PROPERTY OF EMI & APPLE). Recorded In: 5, 6 June, 5 and 12 July, 1968 Genre: Country Rock Ringo Starr: lead vocal, drums, piano, sleigh bell Paul McCartney: piano, bass Jack Fallon: violin Credits per Ian MacDonald and supported by Mark Lewisohn "Don't Pass Me By" is a song by the Beatles from the double album The Beatles (also known as the White Album). It was Ringo Starr's first solo composition, and he sang lead vocals. ORIGIN Its earliest mention seems to be in a BBC chatter session introducing "And I Love Her" on the Top Gear program in 1964. In the conversation, Starr is asked if he wrote a song and Paul McCartney proceeded to mock it soon after, singing the first line "Don't pass me by, don't make me cry, don't make me blue." The song employs a three-chord blues structure. RECORDING The song was recorded in three separate sessions in 1968: 5 and 6 June, 5 and 12 July. Despite references to the song in 1964 as "Don't Pass Me By", it was called "Ringo's Tune (Untitled)" on the 5 June session tape label and "This Is Some Friendly" on the 6 June label. By 12 July, the title was restored. During a lead vocal track recorded on 6 June, Starr audibly counted out 8 beats, and it can be heard in the released song starting at 2:30 of the 1987 CD version. George Martin arranged an orchestral interlude as an introduction, but this was rejected. In 1996, the introduction was released as the track "A Beginning" on The Beatles Anthology 3 CD. The line "I'm sorry that I doubted you, I was so unfair, You were in a car crash and you lost your hair" is cited by proponents of the Paul is dead urban legend as a clue to McCartney's fate; the line "you lost your hair" is claimed to be a reference to "When I'm Sixty-Four", which McCartney wrote. However, the expression "to lose one's hair" was a fairly common English idiom (see, for instance, Elizabeth Bowen's novel "The Death of the Heart," 1938); it simply means "to become anxious or upset." 2009 Movie Animation Studio By Josué Adán Gallardo In Windows Movie Maker On Format Video & Widescreen (WMV)(16:9) - Album Downloaded - Album Artworks Animations In Anime Studio Pro 5.5 - 1968 Apple Records (UK) / Capitol Records (US). The Beatles - The Long And Winding Road (Promo Video) (HQ/HD) By SgtPeppers654 The Beatles Promotional Video, 1969 "The Long and Winding Road" is a ballad written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon/McCartney) that originally appeared on The Beatles' album Let It Be. It became The Beatles' last number-one song in the United States on 23 May 1970, and was the last single released by the quartet. "The Long and Winding Road" was listed with "For You Blue" as a double-sided hit when the single hit number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1970. While the released version of the song was very successful, the post-production modifications to the song by producer Phil Spector angered McCartney to the point that when he made his case in court for breaking up The Beatles as a legal entity, McCartney cited the treatment of "The Long and Winding Road" as one of six reasons for doing so. The Beatles recorded "The Long and Winding Road" on 26 and 31 January 1969, the day after the group's legendary final performance on the roof of their Apple headquarters, with McCartney on piano, Lennon on bass guitar, George Harrison on guitar, Ringo Starr on drums, and Billy Preston on Hammond organ. This was during a series of sessions for an album project then known as Get Back. Lennon, who played bass only occasionally, made several mistakes on the recording. Some writers, such as Ian MacDonald, have postulated that the disenchanted Lennon's ragged bass playing was purposeful.
