Kougioumtzis & Dalaras - Mi Mou Thimonis Matia Mou Stavros Kougioumtzis (1932-2005), from Thessalonica, one of the greatest greek composers of all times, composed this song "Mi mou thimonis matia mou" (Don't be angry with me, dear) in the 60s. Thessalonica was his great love and Stavros walked a lot with his frainds, he knew every corner there. In the afternoons, Stavros used to go for a walk down the coast, meet his fraind and talk, so some day going usually on foot he passed by a friend who had a record shop. He told a Stavros, "I want you to listen a new song". It was the song "Ime aitos horis ftera" (I'm an eagle without wings) with music by Manos Hadjidakis, lyricks by Efthia Papagiannopoulou, singed by Grigoris Bithikotsis in 1963. He was so excited by the structure and tension of the song, that he felt lika doing something about it. Luckily, the friend he was to meet came half an hour late, so his own excitment and his friend's delay, were the reasons that both, the music and the lyrics was written in just a half an hour, during a walk along the coast. He first recorded the choral song 1964 and the song was initially titled "Apoheretismos" (Farewell). Second recording of the song was at 1965. Alekos Patsifas had made the music comapny "Lyra". He believed in Stavros, so he signed him to Lyra. They decided that those choral songs should also be sung solo. They began with "Mi mou thimonis matia mou". The title was selected by Patsifas and Giannis Poulopoulos was the singer. It did became the success at the time, as a song of "Neo Kyma" (New wave) music style. But since the original was too big for a 45 RPM record, he had to speed it up a little. Also the bouzoukis were electric ones. "I recall when, in 1968 the president of "Minos" music company M.Matsas called me about the new singer he would send me, an amezing singer. When i opened the door, I was met with surprise. An 18, 19 years old kid, shy, skinny, he didn't look like a singer to me, at least not a singer like the one I had created in my imagination through Matsas description. When we went to the piano, I was met with a second surprise, that young kid had a very mature voice, a sesnitivity, it was like he had be singing since the very first years of his life. That young singer was Giorgios Dalaras." - Stavros Kougioumtzis Stavros finally did what he wanted in 1974, when he included the song "Mi mou thimonis matia mou" in the LP "Sta psila ta parathria" (At the high windows), there he had the chance to strech the song, and also open it with amazing bouzuki improvisation by Hristos Nikolopoulos. In this form the song was then loved by everyone. An English translation of the song (music and lyrics by Stavros Kougioumtzis): Don't be angry with me, dear, for leaving abroad. I'll become a bird and come back to you. Open your window, my blonde basil, and wish me goodnight with a sweet smile on your face. Don't be angry with me, dear, now that I'll go away from you. Come out for a moment to see you and tell you goodbye. Open your window, my blonde basil, and wish me goodnight with a sweet smile on your face. ( R.i.p ) - MIKLOS FEHER - ( R.i.p ) CAREER... Miklós Fehér, born on the 20 of July 1979, was a striker in the Hungarian football team. He started playing at Győri ETO FC before moving to SL Benfica. Fehér was first seen by F.C. Porto scouts while playing in Hungary at Győri ETO FC. He was signed in 1998 but he never really made a breakthrough in the team, and being relatively young he was loaned to gain experience. He joined another Porto club, SC Salgueiros on loan. Having an average season he was loaned this time to S.C. Braga where he had his best season scoring 14 goals in 26 matches. After the F.C. Porto chairman Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa quarreled with agent José Veiga (Fehér's agent amongst other players), Fehér refused to let go his agent and left. He joined Lisbon side S.L. Benfica scoring 7 goals in 28 matches. DEATH... On 25 January 2004, Benfica travelled to Guimarães to play Vitória S.C.. The game was being broadcast live on television and Benfica were leading 1-0. Fehér received a yellow card in injury time and suddenly bent forward seemingly in pain and then fell backwards to the ground. Team mates rushed immediately to aid Fehér before medical personnel arrived on the pitch. CPR was performed as players looked on in visible distress, as well as the match official who tragically still held in his hand the yellow card with which he had booked Fehér only moments earlier. An ambulance arrived on the pitch and Fehér was rushed to hospital. His condition was covered by the Portuguese media throughout the day but before midnight Fehér's death was confirmed. The Public Prosecutor (the Portuguese agency responsible for the release of autopsy details) announced that Fehér died from ventricular fibrillation brought on by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He was 24 years old. In memory of him, Benfica have retired the number 29 shirt which he wore during his time at the club. This shirt number will never be worn again by a Benfica player. He was remembered by many and his death caused a profound shock in Portuguese sport. Although Fehér left the FC Porto for their big rivals of Lisbon, after his death, Reinaldo Telles - Director of Football of FC Porto - and José Mourinho - the manager at the time - paid their respect at the Estádio da Luz, where his body was. muzika glazba music mostar jugoslavija yugoslavia yugoslav sfrj sfry bosna hercegovina bosnia herzegovina hrvatska croatia srbija serbia crna gora montenegro slovenija slovenia makedonija macedonia balkan mostar sarajevo zagreb beograd podgorica ljubljana skopje hit hitovi zvijezda zvezda zvijezde zvezde stars legenda legend ljubav love amore zivot life sreca luck socijalisticka federativna republika republic socijalizam pjevac pjevacica singer song uzivo live koncert concert zabavna zabavno narodna narodno rock balada balade proljece aca lukas alen islamovic alen slavica bajaga baruni bijelo dugme bojan marovic ceca colonia crvena jabuka daleka obala dar mar dara bubamara davor radolfi dino merlin divlji kesten djordje balasevic dr iggy edo maajka sove fadil toskic film galija generacija goran karan hari mata hari halid beslic haris dzinovic henda jura stublic kemal monteno knez lepa brena macbeth marijan ban mostar sevdah reunion oliver dragojevic oliver mandic osvajaci piloti prljavo kazaliste regina riblja corba sako polumenta samir mujagic sms sareno kamenje sasa kovacevic sasa matic sergej cetkovic sove tifa toma zdravkovic tomislav ivcic toni cetinski unija urbano jutro vesna zmijanac vlado georgiev zana zdravko colic zeljko joksimovic zeljko samardzic ljeto jesen zima josip broz tito komunist komunjara komunizam communist communism bratstvo jedinstvo partizan partisan marsal marshall predsjednik president politika politic sdp ivo josipovic zoran milanovic zeljko komsic rat war milano torino cuneo venezia venecija chicago moline illinois pariz paris velez rodjeni rodeni red army crvena armija crveni sejtani bijeli brijeg avenija vrapcici sjeverni logor dinamo bad blue boys bbb a.c milan rossoneri rossonero chicago bulls cibona arsenal psg borusia dortmund barcelona marat safin goran ivanisevic novak djokovic roger federer monica seles martina hingis flavia pennetta michael jordan derrick rose kirk hinrich michael schumacher ayrton senna roberto baggio francesco totti paolo maldini ivica olic edin dzeko zlatan ibrahimovic andrea gennaro gattuso gianluca zambrotta rafael van der vaart dusan bajevic lionel messi alessandro nesta andres iniesta vahid halilhodzic kranjcar azzurri vatreni purgeri grobari premijer liga nba formula tenis tennis nogomet soccer fudbal football kosarka basketball rukomet handball hokej hockey vaterpolo waterpolo svjetsko europsko evropsko prvenstvo world euro cup italija italia italy amerika sjedinjene americke drzave united states america Tags: amore, balkan, beograd, bosna, bosnia, concert, crna, croatia, federativna, glazba, gora, hercegovina, herzegovina, hit, hitovi, hrvatska, jugoslavija, koncert, legend, legenda, life, live, ljubav, ljubljana, love, luck, macedonia, makedonija, montenegro, mostar, music, muzika, pjevac, pjevacica, podgorica, republic, republika, sarajevo, serbia, sfrj, sfry, singer, skopje, slovenia, slovenija, socijalisticka, socijalizam, srbija, sreca, uzivo, yugoslav, yugoslavia, zagreb, zivot 1 Downloads - Last from: (Your Blog here!) |

---------------------------------------- ---- in english/na engleskom The Homeland War was a war of defence for the independance and integrity of the Croatian Statehood and against the aggression of united «Greater Serbian» extremists within the Republic of Croatia, Yugoslav Peoples' Army (JNA), as well as aggression forces from Serbia proper and Montenegro republic. In August of 1990, preceding the Homelend War, sections of Serbian minority within the Republic of Croatia staged violent revolt.Strategically, the Homelend War comprises three stages. During the first stage, up to January 1992, aggression waged against the Republic of Croatia forced Croatian people to defend its sovereignty. Armed conflicts started breaking out in April of 1991, which saw gradual shift and subsequent siding of Yugoslav Peoples' Army with rebel Srbs such that by August of 1991 it developed into a full scale aggression against the Republic of Croatia and was clearly controlled from Serbia. In the second stage, from January 1992 up to May 1995, when the UN peacekeeping forces were placed along the ceasefire lines, the aggression eased somewhat. For the Republic of Croatia that was the time of diplomatic endeavours, negotiations as well as painstaking buliding of its defence forces which were able to carry out smaller localized offensives and successfully liberate several smaller areas of its territory. During the third stage, in May and August of 1995, two major offensives instigated by the Croatian Army saw most of the occupied territories in the regions of Posavina, West Slavonija, as well as in the provinces of Banovina, Kordun, Lika and Northern Dalmatia liberated from the rouge Serbian elements. And finally, in the period between 1996-1998 the remainder of occupied territories in the region of Podunavlje were reintegrated into Croatia with the assistance of the international transitional administration.
