An CMUCam based Autonomous Robot using VLSI Technology By nhsumra It is an autonomous robot which is able to pick an object whenever it's shown to it automatically. It was devloped by students of Electronics & Communication Branch -2007 of V.V.P. Engineering College, Rajkot,as a final year project. It uses CMU Cam to percept the image, based on calucation it moves left, right, forward, backward to grab the object.It automatically closes the hand when it senses the given colored object. The robot is controlled by NIOS II processor embedded on DE1 Board.The main goal of this project was to devlop the softcore embedded system to control any mechanical system with highest performance & least cost.
