Leonardo da Vinci y sus obras By prgso Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci fue un arquitecto, escultor, pintor, inventor, músico, ingeniero y el hombre del Renacimiento por excelencia. Humanista de primera línea, está ampliamente considerado como uno de los más grandes pintores de todos los tiempos y quizá la persona con más variados talentos de la historia. La admiración hacia Leonardo como científico e inventor es reciente, puesto que a lo largo de cuatrocientos años su enorme fama se debió a sus logros como pintor y a unas pocas obras, que o bien se había autenticado que eran obra suya, o bien se le atribuyeron, pero que en cualquier caso han sido consideradas obras maestras de la pintura. De sus obras, quizás sobreviven 15 pinturas, junto con sus diarios, que contienen dibujos, diagramas científicos, y notas. Planeó frecuentemente pinturas grandiosas con muchos dibujos y esbozos, dejando los proyectos inacabados. Sus pinturas son famosas por una serie de cualidades que han sido muy imitadas por estudiantes y discutidas ampliamente por los aficionados y los críticos: sus técnicas innovadoras, su detallado conocimiento de anatomía, luz, botánica y geología, su interés en fisionomía y la forma en que los humanos registran emoción. Su gran aportación es el esfumado, artificio pictórico que consiste en prescindir de los contornos netos y precisos del "Quattrocento" y envolverlo todo en una especie de niebla imprecisa que difumina los perfiles y produce una impresión de inmersión total en la atmósfera. Prestando atención, se puede percibir en varios cuadros un efecto característico de la pintura de Leonardo: la delicada transición de la luz a la sombra, cuando un tono más claro se funde con otro más oscuro, como bellos acordes musicales. Leonardo usa la llamada "perspectiva aérea", esto es, representar la sensación de profundidad haciendo menos nítidos los planos del fondo porque las partículas en suspensión que hay en la atmósfera hace que se vean con más nitidez los objetos del primer plano y de una manera más difuminada lo que queda al fondo. Todas estas características están presentes en sus obras más famosas: La Gioconda (Mona Lisa), (actualmente en el museo del Louvre de París), La última cena y La Virgen de las Rocas. Just remember this is the original video that started it all. Update 2: 5-19-08 Apparently HIT Entertainment made a copyright claim on Thriller but they have allowed me to keep it up they have just put ads by Google right next to the video. So every time you click on this video so will see ads for Thomas on the right of the video. Update: 1-21-09 Since my Video has over a million hits i suppose i'll let you all in on a little history of this video I began creating this Video in June of 2006. I got the idea of creating a Halloween Music video from SIF Member Christopher who i think created the original Thomas Halloween music video using This Is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas in 2005. I thought to myself i wanted to do something like that with Thriller and release it the next Halloween. For months i did a few tests in WMM to see which scenes would work with Thriller using the episodes i had. I started in June of 2006 by mixing the audio using Audacity and Windows Movie Maker and edited together the first four scenes. After that i left it dormant due to an editors block. I came back to it in August and edited it into September and October. during September i realized that i needed a few episodes and I did some trading with another member who also happened to be making a Thriller music video. We decided to have a friendly competition to see who could make a better Thriller video. Then on Halloween 2006 i did a speed edit to make sure everything was perfect. I liked how it was so far except for the ending which originally ended with the Single version. to me that was an abrupt way to end it. So i went into the original Thriller Video used Audacity to get the extra audio thus extended the video to its 7:23 length. I edited in the Credits and then uploaded it to YouTube and to SIF and the rest is history. Hopefully that provides some insight into the making of this video. and now so i don't have comments asking these questions here are the episodes used in making this video.
