Home bodybuilding workout: hammer curls exercise

Video clip illustrating proper form of the hammer curl exercise for biceps. The key in this arm exercise is a slow and controlled motion without swinging or jerking. Make sure to keep your elbows pinned at your sides and dont allow them to move forward or backward. As with any dumbbell exercise, form is key if you want to maximize your muscle building efforts and minimize the chance of injury. Don't use too much weight, if you can't do the exercise slowly then you need to go lighter. Count aloud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" on the way up and the way down, if you cant do this on this exercise then you are using too much weight. The reason this exercise method maximizes your muscle growth is because it confines the motion to the muscle you are trying to work out, if your body squirms, swings, and kicks, all you are doing is taking the focus away from the muscle you are trying to exercise. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts. Killer Home Arm Workout (biceps, triceps)

http://scoobysworkshop.com/biceps-exercises/ Here is a killer arm workout you can do at home with just a set of dumbbells to help get those huge guns, I'm sore for days after doing this workout. This is an arm workout for the advanced bodybuilder, if you are new to bodybuilding please check my website for a more appropriate workout. There are six exercises, three for biceps and three for triceps. The entire workout takes 45 minutes and there is very little down time. Make sure you have done warm-up sets for both biceps and triceps before starting this workout because we start in with really heavy weights and you don't want to get injured. Intensity and focus are really important when you do this workout. Don't hold back anything, treat every set as if it were your last. I know I sound stupid with all my grunting and groaning but when I give it 110%, I can't help it. In this workout we do one exercise for biceps then without rest do the opposing triceps muscle. Here is the workout: Biceps: dumbbell curl using forced negatives Triceps: skull crushers Rest 60-90s while preparing dumbbells for next exercises Biceps: Twenty-ones with barbell Triceps: narrow grip bench press Rest 60-90s while preparing dumbbells for next exercises Biceps: reverse grip barbell curls Triceps: dumbbell kick backs Repeat the above five times, the complete workout should take about 45 minutes. If you don't like reconfiguring the dumbbells all the time you can also just do each bicep/triceps combo 5X and then move on to the next combo. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. Aces High one-armed bass cover with solo

Iron Maiden's Aces High. It's been years since I covered a Maiden song so I thought it was about time! I tried some new things out in this video - I tried to learn the guitar solos as they're played rather than improvise them. I also tried a little bit of tapping. Not easy with one hand! Let me know what you think of these things. Apologies about the light in the background. I don't know why it was so bright. I closed my curtains and put more light around me to try and compensate. Kathryn Budig in Handstand Lotus (Padmasana)

not a bad idea to practice this with a wall behind you. if you're wondering what happens if you start to fall in this pose, your body will surprise you. it reacts and you legs will flip out to land in a backbend, BUT to be safe, start at the wall. i prefer jumping into this pose with one leg straight, one knee bent tight to the chest. that way once i find balance, it's just an external rotation of the bent knee hip to go into half lotus. that is a GREAT place to begin. keep working the bent knee balance and the half lotus balance. if those are both too intense, practice kicking up to handstand at the wall and rotate the hip open into tree pose. this will prepare the hip as well. once you get the half lotus down, it's time to be very patient. bend the second leg pulling the heel in and back. once the second heel makes contact with your shin bone, you'll need to snuggle it in. wiggle the foot until you can weave yourself into a deeper lotus. from there you have the option to lift the knees up to the ceiling (deep hip opener) or like you see in this video, lower the lotus until it is parallel with the floor (more core work).
