By MemaStathopoulou ..:: Φωτιά στην Ελλάδα - Νομός Ηλείας - Αύγουστος 2007 (βίντεο 3ο) ::.. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Στα βίντεο που ανέβασα μπορείτε να παρακολουθήσετε την πορεία της φωτιάς στο βουνό Λαπίθας και στην Αρχαία Ολυμπία (24-28 Αυγούστου 2007). Οι φωτογραφίες που παρουσιάζονται σε όλα τα βίντεο είναι τοποθετημένες με χρονολογική σειρά από την πρώτη ώρα που ξέσπασε η φωτιά έως το τέλος της, που πλέον αντικρίσαμε το μαύρο χρώμα της στάχτης που άφησε πίσω της. Μες στις φωτογραφίες παρουσιάζεται το βουνό Λαπίθας (Σμέρνα) που καίγεται,καθώς και τα χωριά Γραίκα, Βρίνα, Σμέρνα, Κρέστενα (από όπου κατάγομαι),Γρύλλος, Φρίξα, Σκιλλουντία, Καϊάφας, Ζαχάρω, Πελόπιο, Αρχαία Ολυμπία. Όλα τα βίντεο ξεκινούν και τελειώνουν με τα ίδια λόγια και δημιουργήθηκαν με μοναδικό σκοπό να κρατήσουν ζωντανή την ανάμνηση των ανθρώπων που έδωσαν τη ζωή τους τις μέρες εκείνες, αλλά και να στηρίξουν ψυχολογικά όσους πάλεψαν να κρατήσουν ζωντανούς δικούς τους ανθρώπους και περιουσίες, αλλά τελικά δεν τα κατάφεραν. Ήμουν εκεί! Έζησα τον πόνο! Είδα δάκρυα και αγωνία στα πρόσωπα των συμπατριωτών μου... στα πρόσωπα όλων μας και δεν θα ξεχάσω ΠΟΤΕ όσα έζησα και είδα! Δείτε λοιπόν τη φωτιά από τη δική μου «οπτική γωνία», από τα μέρη που επισκέφτηκα δειλά με το αυτοκίνητο μιας και η πρόσβαση στις περιοχές που φλέγονταν ήταν αδύνατη λόγω της αστυνομίας. Δεν πρέπει να ξεχαστεί το γεγονός αυτό! Η μισή χώρα πλέον θρηνεί τα καμένα δάση της αλλά πάνω από όλα τους πολίτες της που χάθηκαν τις στιγμές εκείνες! Μην αφήσετε να σβήσει αυτό που έγινε! Ας στηρίξουμε όλοι μας τους ανθρώπους εκείνους -με όποιον τρόπο θεωρεί ο καθένας πιο κατάλληλο- και ας βοηθήσουμε και εμείς στην αναδάσωση αλλά και στην προστασία της φύσης γενικότερα.
