Aphrodite (Ἀφροδίτη) was the Greek goddess of beauty, and the mother of love (Ἔρως). She was born from the foam rising of the sea, some say in Kythera others in Cyprus. In the Cyclades (Κυκλάδες), her temples existed in Kythnos (Κύθνος) and Amorgos (Αμοργός). All the islands of the Cyclades are beautiful, and its inhabitants have a true hellenic love for beauty.
