Les Miserables Episode 1- Valjean 24601 By AddiCullen PLEASE SUBSCRIBE! ***STORY: You can mostly tell this from the video but I will explain anyway. Jean Valjean was a poor man, he was so poor that one night he broke into a bakery and stole a loaf of bread but was caught. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison. After adding on many years for escape attempts he was in prison for 19 years. Inspector Javier puts him on parole. Jean Valjean leaves and stays with a priest at a church but that night he stole all of the silver and ran off. He was caught but the Priest covered for him and forgave him. He gave Valjean candlesticks to help change his life. Valjean is confused by all of this, he never thought that he could change. The scene at the very end is when Valjean decides to give himself a fresh start and tears up his parole slip. Where will he go and what will he do now? Who will convict him of his crimes? Subscribe and watch our for episode 2. By the way, for people unfamiliar with this it takes place before the French revolution. And I'll fix the subtitle problem in the next episode!!!!
