Los Evangelios Apócrifos, fueron redescubiertos en torno a 1945 en Nag Hammadi, rodeados de una leyenda de sangre y muerte, como explicará, avanzado el programa, Javier Sierra. La formación del canon oficial duró varios siglos, pero principalmente se inicia entre el 180 y 200 con Ireneo y culmina en el Concilio de Trento en el XVI.
