Paul McCartney No More Lonely Nights Remaster

No More Lonely Nights" is a song written by Paul McCartney, which was first released in September 1984. It can be heard on the soundtrack, Give My Regards to Broad Street. The single reached #6 in the US[1] and #2 in the UK. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of allmusic said the song was "an absolutely lovely mid-tempo tune graced by a terrific David Gilmour guitar solo."[2] In a radio interview prior to 1990's Knebworth concerts, Gilmour told Jim Ladd that "No More Lonely Nights" was the last thing McCartney recorded for the film, and that he told McCartney to give his session fee to a charity of his choice. Two versions of the single on both 7" & 12" as well as a 12" picture disc were issued in both the U.K. and U.S. The first 7" version featured "No More Lonely Nights" backed with the playout version. The second featured the Arthur Baker Dance Mix as the B-side. Both versions of this single exist with a rarer early pressing with the title misspelled as "No More Lonley Nights." Paul McCartney -- lead vocal, piano Linda McCartney -- backing vocal Eric Stewart -- backing vocal David Gilmour -- guitar Herbie Flowers -- bass Anne Dudley -- synthesiser Stuart Elliott -- drums

The Beatles Hey Jude (2009 Stereo Remaster)

Join the Official TheQuarrymen58 Facebook page for News, Photos and exclusive videos! http://www.facebook.com/pages/TheQuarrymen58/157704880923753?ref=ts "Hey Jude" is a song by the English rock band The Beatles. Credited to Lennon/McCartney, the ballad evolved from "Hey Jules," a song Paul McCartney wrote to comfort John Lennon's son Julian during his parents' divorce. "Hey Jude" begins with a verse-bridge structure based around McCartney's vocal performance and piano accompaniment; further instrumentation is added as the song progresses to distinguish sections. After the fourth verse, the song shifts to a fade-out coda that lasts for more than four minutes. "Hey Jude" was released in August 1968 as the first single from the Beatles' record label Apple Records. More than seven minutes in length, "Hey Jude" was, at the time, the longest single ever to top the British charts.[2] It also spent nine weeks as number one in the United States—the longest run at the top of the American charts for a Beatles single, and broke the record for longest stay at #1 (until the record was beaten by "You Light Up My Life"). The single has sold approximately eight million copies and is frequently included on professional lists of the all-time best songs. I dubbed in the remastered audio with the David Frost footage from Anthology.

The Beatles I Am The Walrus (2009 Stereo Remaster)

Join the official TheQuarrymen58 Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/pages/TheQuarrymen58/157704880923753?ref=ts "I Am the Walrus" is a 1967 song by The Beatles, written by John Lennon. Lennon claimed he wrote the first two lines on separate acid trips. The song was in The Beatles' 1967 television film and album Magical Mystery Tour, and was the B-side to the #1 hit "Hello, Goodbye". Lennon composed the avant-garde song by combining three songs he had been working on. When he learned that a teacher at his old primary school was having his students analyse Beatles' lyrics, he added a verse of nonsense words. The walrus is a reference to the walrus in Lewis Carroll's "The Walrus and the Carpenter" (from the book Through the Looking-Glass). Lennon expressed dismay upon belatedly realizing that the walrus was a villain in the poem.
