Weston * The One-Man Marching Band Once called "A Mexican John Belushi" (Logan, Utah, March 19, 2004), Weston is not Mexican (half Argentinian), named John (he's from Cleveland, after all), or named Belushi (but he did for a while date a girl named Belushi - that was her only name, because she was a pop singer). Weston graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. For employment he now does both, though not at the same time, and not for at least 45 minutes after eating a large meal. Weston is currently in a tree flinging empty pizza boxes at celebrities. Mister Tim * The Human Vending Machine Mister Tim sings in a kajillion a cappella groups and is also a one-man a cappella band, composer, teacher, and conductor. Mister Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree, Vocal Performance emphasis, from the University of Utah, and studied for a Masters degree in Choral Conducting at the University of Colorado. Mister Tim is on the Board of Directors of the Contemporary A Cappella Society Mister Tim has children. Regularly. Glen * The Envy of Stupid People Everywhere A self-proclaimed Air Force BRAT, Glen is actually a nice guy. While at Brigham Young University he was integral in starting the group "Integral" and he broke the norm with his other group, "Norm." Be still my heart, I'm funny. Glen is a computer programmer, so if you get him angry and he goes nuts, don't say we didn't warn you. Glen is currently engaged in a staring contest with a ring-tailed kinkajou. Jeremiah * Calling him "the bald one" would be too easy You can call him "Jer"; you can call him "Jar"; just don't call him "Jar-Jar". As well as singing baritone with moosebutter, Jeremiah has sung (has singed? has sang? sanguine?) screamy-high soprano with Vocal Point (not to be confused with Vocal Point or Vocal Point). Jeremiah one day hopes to actually talk to a woman. Richard * The Robot Richard used to sing with the college a cappella group Mile 21 from the University of Colorado. He currently sings with several pro a cappella groups, and makes furniture. Also, he is a ROBOT Peter * The crooner Peter likes to lay down with his ear on the ground until he hears a herd of something or a large something coming towards him, then he gets out of the way. He is a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He does tricks if you give him a milkshake. It has to be a really good milkshake. INFO: This was a corporate song that was used during the Macintosh rollout in January, 1984. I heard it live, in Manhattan, sitting in the audience as with the other authorized Apple dealers/retailers at the time. The song was a bit of a diversion between product announcements, and was meant to energize the audience a bit. At this meeting, Apple introduced the Macintosh and the new line of Lisa computer systems. The copy that's been out on the Internet was pretty ratty looking, with dropouts in the video and the audio. I digitized and restored this version from a first generation VHS tape in my personal library. I also extracted the audio and enhanced it in my home studio to give it some more punch and reduce the noise. So, if you are into technology, Apple corporate history, or computing, you will enjoy this. if you're not, and you just like the videos of me and my family and my bad jokes -- don't watch it, because the song is really cheesy and is a blatant rip off of Irene Cara's "Flashdance" song. Trivia: when I saw this 'live' at the Mac introduction, we, as Apple Dealers, all LAUGHED OUR ASSES OFF at time marker 02:47 - when the guy carried a 60 pound LISA computer under his arm like it was a laptop! Trivia: Some fellow Apple Dealers, who were watching the Macintosh introduction, got out of their seats to call their stock brokers from the pay phones to issue a 'buy' order! Smart. I wish I did the same. I was too involved in figuring out how I could afford to buy both a Mac and a Lisa. Trivia: I didn't know how to tie my necktie. I used to keep them pre-notted. When I was in the bathroom, all suited up, I yanked the necktie and the knot came loose! HOLY CRAP! Good thing a co-worker also had to use the facilities, and help me fix my tie. How embarrasing. I quickly learned to tie a Windsor knot a week later. Weston * The One-Man Marching Band Once called "A Mexican John Belushi" (Logan, Utah, March 19, 2004), Weston is not Mexican (half Argentinian), named John (he's from Cleveland, after all), or named Belushi (but he did for a while date a girl named Belushi - that was her only name, because she was a pop singer). Weston graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. For employment he now does both, though not at the same time, and not for at least 45 minutes after eating a large meal. Weston is currently in a tree flinging empty pizza boxes at celebrities. Mister Tim * The Human Vending Machine Mister Tim sings in a kajillion a cappella groups and is also a one-man a cappella band, composer, teacher, and conductor. Glen is a computer programmer, so if you get him angry and he goes nuts, don't say we didn't warn you. Glen is currently engaged in a staring contest with a ring-tailed kinkajou. Jeremiah * Calling him "the bald one" would be too easy You can call him "Jer"; you can call him "Jar"; just don't call him "Jar-Jar". As well as singing baritone with moosebutter, Jeremiah has sung (has singed? has sang? sanguine?) screamy-high soprano with Vocal Point (not to be confused with Vocal Point or Vocal Point). Jeremiah one day hopes to actually talk to a woman. Richard * The Robot Richard used to sing with the college a cappella group Mile 21 from the University of Colorado. He currently sings with several pro a cappella groups, and makes furniture. Also, he is a ROBOT Peter * The crooner Peter likes to lay down with his ear on the ground until he hears a herd of something or a large something coming towards him, then he gets out of the way. INFO: This was a corporate song that was used during the Macintosh rollout in January, 1984. I heard it live, in Manhattan, sitting in the audience as with the other authorized Apple dealers/retailers at the time. The song was a bit of a diversion between product announcements, and was meant to energize the audience a bit. At this meeting, Apple introduced the Macintosh and the new line of Lisa computer systems. The copy that's been out on the Internet was pretty ratty looking, with dropouts in the video and the audio. I digitized and restored this version from a first generation VHS tape in my personal library. I also extracted the audio and enhanced it in my home studio to give it some more punch and reduce the noise. So, if you are into technology, Apple corporate history, or computing, you will enjoy this. if you're not, and you just like the videos of me and my family and my bad jokes -- don't watch it, because the song is really cheesy and is a blatant rip off of Irene Cara's "Flashdance" song. Trivia: when I saw this 'live' at the Mac introduction, we, as Apple Dealers, all LAUGHED OUR ASSES OFF at time marker 02:47 - when the guy carried a 60 pound LISA computer under his arm like it was a laptop! Trivia: Some fellow Apple Dealers, who were watching the Macintosh introduction, got out of their seats to call their stock brokers from the pay phones to issue a 'buy' order! Smart. I wish I did the same. I was too involved in figuring out how I could afford to buy both a Mac and a Lisa. Trivia: I didn't know how to tie my necktie. I used to keep them pre-notted. When I was in the bathroom, all suited up, I yanked the necktie and the knot came loose! HOLY CRAP! Good thing a co-worker also had to use the facilities, and help me fix my tie. How embarrasing. I quickly learned to tie a Windsor knot a week later.
