LOUD & NASTY Festival 2011 - The Riptide Movement.m4v Handgemachter Blues Rock, der ins Blut geht, von dort in den Kopf steigt und sich in den Gliedern entlädt. The Riptide Movement werden von Eric Bell -- Thin Lizzy -- mit den Worten " A Sultry, Rocking, Swamp filled, Roots Rock Jam, I can see the alligators, and almost taste the everglades!" beschrieben. Wer Bands wie Creedence Clear Water Revival, Rory Gallagher, The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Beatles und The Rolling Stones hört, dessen Füsse dabei anfangen zu zucken, sollte die Band „The Riptide Movement" nicht verpassen. Anfang 2006 gruppierte sich „The Riptide Movement", um fort an zusammen ihre Karriereleiter zu erklimmen. Das Quartett sprengte sofort alle Erwartungen und sorgte für unvergessene Auftritte in Bars, Clubs und Festivals. Ihr Album „ What About The Tip Jars? " wurde vom legendärenTony Colton produziert, der schon für Rory Gallagher, The Doors, Yes und Hands and Feet arbeitete, und von Martin Wyatt (Fleetwood Mac, The Moody Blues) veröffentlicht. Sofort nach den Albumaufnahmen in Studios in London und Nashville / Tennessee brach die Band auf, um 32 Clubkonzerte und 2 Festivalauftritte in 2 Monaten zu absolvieren. „The Riptide Movement" stehen für eigene Kompositionen, unglaubliche Live-Performances und publikumsübergreifende Auftritte. In Irland längst erfolgreich, wird dies auch in Deutschland bald der Fall sein.
