Abbiamo realizzato il episodio pilota approfitando dal seminario recentemente organizzato a Bucarest con PAGANO sensei. AGATSU (il titolo della seria) significa "Vittoria contro il Se" ed e estratto dal principio il quale O-Sensei usava di esprimerlo e scriverlo (calligrafarlo) quasi spesso : MASAKATSU AGATSU * (La coretta vittoria e contro noi stessi). Pagano sensei ci ha racontato come ha riuscito conquistare la vittoria contro il suo aggresivo spirito giovenile e qual'e statto il punto di cambiamento, senza la sua voglia, dalla sua attitudine per l'intera vita sua. (YOJI-JUKUGO sone espressioni di sagezza giapponese formate solo da quattro kanji. Molto meno consciute come le poesie corte HAIKU, per gli giapponesi stessi, YOJI-JUKUGO mostrano che lo spirito giapponese educato sa dire tanto con cosi poche parole). = KENSHIN DOJO vă propune seria AGATSU, cu și despre maeștrii noștri de AIKIDO. Am realizat episodul pilot profitând de stagiul organizat recent la București cu PAGANO sensei. AGATSU (titlul seriei) înseamnă "Victoria asupra sinelui" și este extras din principiul pe care O-SENSEI obișnuia să-l exprime și să-l caligrafieze destul de des: MASAKATSU AGATSU ("Victoria corectă este victoria asupra nouă înșine"). PAGANO sensei ne-a povestit cum a reușit să câștige victoria împotriva spiritului său agresiv din tinerețe, și care a fost punctul de cotitură care i-a corectat, fără să vrea, atitudinea apoi i-a schimbat întreaga viață. Mult mai puțin cunoscute decât poemele scurte HAIKU, chiar și pentru japonezii înșiși, YOJI-JUKUGO demonstrează că spiritul japonez educat știe să spună atât de multe cu atât de puține cuvinte.) The clean version of "Check Yo Self (The Message Remix)" can be found within the popular videogame Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing on the West Coast Hip hop radio station Radio Los Santos and in the soundtrack of the movie Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. The music video for "Check Yo Self" makes use of the remix version. Similar to the video for his previous single "It Was A Good Day," most of the scenes follow and illustrate respective lyrics of the song. The video continues where "It Was A Good Day" left off, with Ice Cube's home being surrounded and invaded by the LAPD before he is handcuffed and taken under arrest, presumably for murder. Ice Cube is then brought to L.A. County jail where he spends the majority of the video experiencing the conflict described in the lyrics; such as disputes between cellmates and breaking up with his girlfriend. After six months pass, Ice Cube is able to win over the female guard watching him who helps him break out by dressing him up in a uniform. The two make their way outside to police cruiser and drive off into the night.
