HobbyKing Turnigy FlySky 9x Radio with ER9x Firmware Demonstration Finally flashed my HobbyKing Turnigy 9x with the ER9x firmware. Doing this adds a lot of functionality to the otherwise already good radio. The ER9x is one of several open source projects based on this AMTEL chipped radio and variants. One of the features I like very much is that you get 16 model slots. Every stick, pot and switch is programmable - even virtual switches if you would ever need one. The radio settings by itself is an eye opener - you get also to see the status of your ALL your control points and a brief but important snapshot on how your radio is doing. The logic behind the firmware takes some getting used to - but when you understand what it is doing, then it becomes easier to find out how to make the radio do what you need/want.
