Cuatro vidas - tráiler español Basada en un proverbio asiático que clasifica la vida en cuatro emociones: felicidad, tristeza, placer y amor. La historia principal resigue el explosivo idilio entre Placer (Brendan Fraser), un gángster que es capaz de ver el futuro, y Tristeza (Sarah Michelle Gellar), una bella y emergente estrella del pop. Cuando la gestión del contrato de Tristeza queda bajo control de Fingers (Andy García), un despiadado jefe del mundo del crimen que aspira a legalizar sus asuntos por medio del negocio del espectáculo, Placer se ve en la encrucijada de tener que elegir entre seguir el dictado de su corazón o sus visiones del futuro. A continuación, tenemos la historia de Felicidad (Forest Whitaker), un sombrío corredor de bolsa que busca desesperadamente un modo de escapar de la muerte lenta que le significa su rutina diaria. Tras tomar prestada una gran cantidad de dinero y perderlo todo en el juego clandestino que controla Fingers, Felicidad se ve en la encrucijada de o bien escapar a su destino o bien enfrentarse a sus miedos. Por último, tenemos el cuento de Amor (Kevin Bacon), un médico apasionadamente enamorado de Gina (Julie Delpy), la esposa de su mejor amigo. Cuando ésta sufre un accidente de laboratorio, se ve ante el apuro de sólo disponer de 24 horas de vida a menos que reciba una trasfusión de sangre. ¿Cuál es el problema? Gina tiene un tipo de sangre muy extraño del que sólo un 2% de la población es portador. Amor se lanza a una carrera contra reloj para dar con ese tipo sanguíneo... accionando así el engranaje del destino que hará que las respectivas historias de Tristeza, Placer, Amor, Felicidad y Fingers acaben por coincidir.
