Dixieland Direct has been performing together for almost two decades. Along with being featured on numerous recordings, members of DIXIELAND DIRECT have been featured at major jazz festivals and have toured extensively throughout the United States and abroad.Focusing on musicianship as well as entertainment, the band combines humorous lyrics and a dose of bandstand shtick to make a fun-filled and enjoyable time for all audiences. The band is uniquely complemented with its own arrangers and an extensive library of over 500 arrangements. TEKNO - IL RESPIRO DEL MOSTRO un film di Andrea Zambelli Tekno racconta di carovane che viaggiano verso i paesi dell'est Europa, alla ricerca di spazi di libertà in cui promuovere e sviluppare la cultura del free party illegale. Con il progredire vorticoso della società del controllo nei paesi dell'Europa occidentale, i nuovi nomadi cercano a est un diverso orizzonte, interagendo con i popoli dell'ex blocco sovietico. Camion e furgoni trasportano potenti sound-system che danno vita ai teknivals, raduni autogestiti dove i travellers e le tribe di tutta Europa si incontrano per dare vita a una festa di musica elettronica che dura diversi giorni. Nato a Bergamo nel 1975, si laurea al DAMS di Bologna nel 2001. Esordisce alla regia con Farebbero tutti silenzio, girato tra i tifosi della curva nord dell'Atalanta. Nel 2002, in Palestina gira la docu-fiction Deheishe camp. Nei mesi successivi visita i campi profughi del sud del Libano e produce Identità. Nel 2006 collaborando a un progetto di alfabetizzazione comunicativa in Colombia realizza Mercancìa. Dello stesso anno è il primo documentario realizzato con rossofuoco sul coro delle mondine di Novi di Modena Di madre in figlia, in concorso al Toronto Film Festival 2008.
