Paula and Ovi are taking a domestic fight to another level by controlling different characters in a computer game: Pilots in a space-race, soldiers in urban warfare, dancers and finally robots dancing in sync with the human dancers. The video has been filmed in Romania and Austria. The technology behind it is similar to the one used for making the movie Avatar, called "motion capture". Special suits with motion sensors have been used to translate the dancers movements onto the 3D generated and animated robots. The crew behind this is pan-European. Director Mihnea de Vries has Belgian ancestors, Executive Producer Eduard Schneider is German and French citizen, currently living in Romania. Motion-capture technicians are Austrian and the CGI-team is spread all over Europe, supervised by senior Visual-FX artist Cristian "Freespace" Ciocotisan. [View \| Download]	"Hear the Sound" [Full AMV] So I started this video early March or so last year, and it was such a monster of a project that it kept crashing on me every time I tried to open it--I ended up setting it aside and not really messing with it for a very long time. But Eyeshine has been telling me to finish it, and when inspiration rolled around the corner last month I decided to do it. It was much like composing an MEP. That was quite literally the only way I could go about making this AMV because there was just not enough room on my computer to hold the sucker in a render lol long story short, HERE SHE IS. I think that this music video is very very special, because it is one of the first times I have actually edited without cutting a full song in God knows how long, and there is a huge amount of careful thought and work that's been put into it. I tried to make it one of the best AMVs that I've ever made, and as of today I believe that it is. Expect to see this in a few global AMV contests at Anime Conventions. "Feels like this video is telling us you can accomplish anything and you feel unstoppable" -- Yes, I did absolutely intend for this video to scream out the message that we can accomplish anything in our lives, that all dreams are within our reach and all possibilities are endless.
