War haka were originally performed by warriors before a battle, proclaiming their strength and prowess in order to intimidate the opposition. Today, haka constitute an integral part of formal or official welcome ceremonies for distinguished visitors or foreign dignitaries, serving to impart a sense of the importance of the occasion. PS. La nuova Delibera Agcom sul Diritto D'Autore, di cui mi sono già occupato in passato ma che ora si avvia al tour de force finale, permetterà ai censori di scorrazzare liberamente tra i contenuti di informazione libera sgraditi e farli a fettine. Il principio è semplice (qui tutti i dettagli): se all'interno di un post o di un video includi un qualsiasi frammento di informazione multimediale che deriva da fonti esterne, compresi virgolettati di articoli apparsi sui quotidiani o magari uno spezzone di TG per commentarlo, il proprietario di quel contenuto, magari imbeccato dai poteri particolari che il tuo articolo infastidisce, potrà richiederti di rimuovere immediatamente i contenuti che hai pubblicato, ovvero di eliminare il tuo post e il tuo video. Se non lo farai entro un termine brevissimo, potrà rivolgersi all'AGCOM che, dopo una procedura rapida e sommaria, ordinerà al gestore dei contenuti (per esempio Youtube nel caso di un video o il gestore dei servizi di hosting nel caso di un post) di rimuoverli al posto tuo. E potrà persino rendere completamente irraggiungibile il tuo sito. La magistratura? Superata. In Spagna si sono incazzati per molto meno. Può fare una cosa del genere, l'AGCOM? Certamente no. O meglio: non ancora. Il Governo Monti, infatti, con la liberalità che lo contraddistingue sta per investire l'Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni del potere assoluto di scrivere normative, renderle vigenti e poi farle rispettare. Un mostro divora diritti, un buco nero dell'informazione pronto a risucchiare con il suo potente campo gravitazionale ogni piccolo asteroide nel raggio di milioni di chilometri. Guido Scorza (una vecchia conoscenza delle battaglie di byoblu.com per le libertà digitali) e la Open Media Coalition chiedono dunque trasparenza totale sulle nomine dei cinque monarchi Agcom che entro 45 giorni dovranno essere espresse dal Governo Monti, arrivando a richiedere l'intervento dell'ONU per garantire la l'imparzialità delle scelte e la loro espressione alla luce del sole. Il principio è semplice (qui tutti i dettagli): se all'interno di un post o di un video includi un qualsiasi frammento di informazione multimediale che deriva da fonti esterne, compresi virgolettati di articoli apparsi sui quotidiani o magari uno spezzone di TG per commentarlo, il proprietario di quel contenuto, magari imbeccato dai poteri particolari che il tuo articolo infastidisce, potrà richiederti di rimuovere immediatamente i contenuti che hai pubblicato, ovvero di eliminare il tuo post e il tuo video. Se non lo farai entro un termine brevissimo, potrà rivolgersi all'AGCOM che, dopo una procedura rapida e sommaria, ordinerà al gestore dei contenuti (per esempio Youtube nel caso di un video o il gestore dei servizi di hosting nel caso di un post) di rimuoverli al posto tuo. E potrà persino rendere completamente irraggiungibile il tuo sito. La magistratura? Superata. In Spagna si sono incazzati per molto meno. Può fare una cosa del genere, l'AGCOM? Certamente no. O meglio: non ancora. Il Governo Monti, infatti, con la liberalità che lo contraddistingue sta per investire l'Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni del potere assoluto di scrivere normative, renderle vigenti e poi farle rispettare. Un mostro divora diritti, un buco nero dell'informazione pronto a risucchiare con il suo potente campo gravitazionale ogni piccolo asteroide nel raggio di milioni di chilometri. Guido Scorza (una vecchia conoscenza delle battaglie di byoblu.com per le libertà digitali) e la Open Media Coalition chiedono dunque trasparenza totale sulle nomine dei cinque monarchi Agcom che entro 45 giorni dovranno essere espresse dal Governo Monti, arrivando a richiedere l'intervento dell'ONU per garantire la l'imparzialità delle scelte e la loro espressione alla luce del sole.
