In the two years since I posted this series I have received messages from many Christians stating that they are offended by the word "crusade" (a derivation of "cross") being associated with Islamic violence. I chose to use that word because The Crusades are something that most in the post-modern, politically correct West recognize as "evil." Many westerners are still not acquainted with the real meaning of words like "jihad," "shariah," "dhimmis", etc. Hopefully in 2010 more people DO understand the true meaning of those words. In short, I chose the word "crusades" to highlight that Christians were not the only ones who fought religious wars of conquest. My intention was not to insult Christianity. Christianity is a religion of peace that is sometimes used by extremists to justify violence. Islam is a religion of war. I pray for the day when these videos are no longer needed. Until that day I will keep the name "Islamic Crusades." [View \| Download]	THAI PROTESTERS Continue into a 3rd Day 13.04.2009 The protesters are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva's Government, which they say took power illegitimately four months ago & are vowing to stay on the street's until this is achieved. There are reports of soldiers firing into the air and at least one fatality as well as almost 100 injuries. A state of emergency was ordered on Sunday and soldiers and armoured vehicles sent on to the streets after ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra called for a revolution. Mr Vejjajiva appeared on television late on Sunday, flanked by military commanders, to say an army coup was not going to happen. Thailand has seen 18 coups since 1932, and the military often has the final say in Thai politics. "Jhoom Lay" has been composed by noori in collaboration with noted music director Shuja Haider. The lyrics have been penned by Mr. Irfan Khan who is the Executive Creative Director for Lowe and Rauf. With this song, noori makes a comeback to the mainstream after a prolong hiatus and the band will actively pursue to reach out to the widest possible audience by some fabulously catchy tunes and vidoes. Jhoome Re is the first step towards that direction and the video, which is shot in Bangkok by Ahsan Rahim, is easily noori's biggest to date. The plot of the video revolves around two brothers who are portraying the two flavours of Walls Cornetto. Ali Hamza gets the spotlight this time around.
