Which race is the best?
People consider the white race to be the superior race. But if you are in East Asia the yellow skin is considered the best. If you go to Africa black skin is considered superior and if you go to India, brown skin is considered superior. So the human race becomes divided by color. The truth is that no matter what color you are the color of your blood is red. No color is superior to another. All people eat the same food, drink the same water and have the same red blood. Nature has made us all one. All humans are one no matter what color..
Which religion is the best?
Because of religion, the world has become a mess. Religion is supposed to create the opposite effect and that is to create compassion, love, kindness and understanding. Every religion thinks it is the best in the world and there are hundreds of them. Islam thinks it is the best, Christianity thinks it is the best and so on. Religion is not the real thing, it is a concept because when religions organize into powerful structures they are no longer religion; they become a cult.
If anyone criticizes the religion or the leadership they will be killed.
For example, in Islam, if anyone criticizes the Koran the religious leader will declare fatwa on his life. If anyone criticizes Jesus they are ready to kill him. They forget that Jesus taught compassion, even against those who criticize. Buddhists and followers of Mahavira don't like criticism either.
Non-religion is superior to any religion. A person before following a religion has potential to blossom. He can open his heart to animal rights, the poor etc. His compassion will be broad and universal. But once religion takes hold of him he enters a small box. He will only think of helping those in the same box.
Mother Teresa, the Catholic nun, was an example. Yes, she devoted her life to helping a lot of people and her life is exemplary yet underneath she was in a small box too. If someone wanted to adopt a child she wanted to make sure that they were Catholic. Others could not adopt.
I say that you should follow good advice from any religious books whether it is the Koran, the Bible, the Vedas or other books. Don't fall into any one of them exclusively. Be open and learn good things from all sources available to you.
